The game is amazing starting from the graphics to the story line. It does get a bit repetitive with the missions.

This is mostly a cinematic game, based in the 60's of a fictional city based on New Orleans, it showcases the harsh realities minorities face, which isn't a big staple in any game. While the cut scenes and story was awesome, the gameplay was stale in comparison. Repetitive gameplay is mostly to blame not achieving a full score, but if your want a fresh new perspective of the 60's through video games, it's a must cop.

The game has good graphics but it lost a lot of abilities you were able to do in the last mafia where in the last one you could turn on the sink see your own reflection this one loses the little touches that you don't miss until you play this one now if this is your first mafia game then you won't miss a thing definitely recommend this just don't expect it to be the best role playing game

If you love a good story with your game, the story of Lincoln Clay is a very good one at that, and it involves some very serious and thought provoking issues. Unfortunately, the best parts of this game are scattered between repetition and janky, average, gameplay. Play it for the story, but be prepared to endure the shortcomings along the way.

Mafia 3 is a game with fun and solid mechanics, and a very interesting story, fine visual fidelity, and a superb soundtrack, but it is marred by repetitive gameplay that does not change or alter the experience after the first 3 hours or so. And this is an open world game looking to fill up around 30 hours of play time. The story is definitely what made me push myself to finish this game. It's enjoyable, with excellent animation, great voice work, and a simple but clear objective to get to the end. Unfortunately, the gameplay, although solid and workable, has no new twists or mechanics that change the pace.. nor does it introduce any new systems that help the monotony feel less.. monotonous. This game could have been much better had they introduced more variety. For now, it is not a bad experience, so long as repetition and the occasional glitch does not ruin your experience. Play it for the story.
