Basic product, might be better to buy a upgraded model as this is my third Magellan in 12 years

Disappointing - Not Good for Colorblind

I purchased this because my Garmin had been stolen. I wanted a new, affordable GPS that had US & Canada maps. I saw this was on a Black Friday special and thought it would be perfect.
Overall it is does what it says, but the search function is not user friendly. If you have the address / zip entered in a way it doesn't like it will not allow you to put in the house/ street number you want.
Settings also don't have many customization options.
And the biggest factor for me was that the route highlight is not sufficiently different from map background to be visible to color-blind folks.
Better to spend the extra money for a Garmin. I returned this and will not buy Magellan again.

Product Used Three Times and Stopped Working

I bought two of the devices for my two sons. One son used his three times and it stopped working. It only had a light blue color on the screen. I went to Best Buy to return it and they didn't have any others to exchange. They gave me a store credit. I had to buy another model on-line that was more expensive than the original one purchased because the original one had been on sale. I should have received an even exchange.

missing data gps

it is basically a decent unit, but did notice, even with the latest upgrades of Maps, the speed limits are incorrect and there are missing roads, that have been around for over 30 years. Missing display items that I had on 7 year older units before it.

GPS in windshield holder, always falling face down, constantly need to push it up so I can see it, annoying, distracting, unsafe.
