Well my old GPS was messing up so I needed a new one.

This is best if you're in the market for a GPS. With that said, I bought it mainly as a dash cam with a GPS. Bad idea, if you need a "dash cam". Weigh you're options first.

I got this as a gift i love the fact you can use the map guide while recording your driving rout . Im still learning all the bells and whistles but its fun.

after playing around with it to see how it works it works great video recorder for the extra eye's when someone tries's to cut you off or when you try to prove you were in the right you have proof

It stated it was compatible with back up camera but it is not! As far as GPS good, easy to use!

Buy a Garmin, this Magellan is too dim and not loud enough. I can only use it in an enclosed car with a black interior, windows up, A/C off so I can see it or hear it.

Takes forever to connect to the GPS signal if at all. Must have a weak antenna. My phone is better and faster to use. Updated the software on line, didn't help. Fastest it's locked onto a signal is 20 minutes. Waited to long or I'd take it back. Thumbs down here

This is an awesome GPS with the dash camera included but I have to figure out why it will not let me update the maps and why I cannot pull off the recordings from the dash camera

Excellent product for the price. Unfortunately, this system will not continuously show the vehicle speed and the volume could be a little louder, but still overall excellent product.

Had a Magellan as my previous GPS. Tried a couple of other brands to see how they were. Decided to stick with the Magellan brand. Very user friendly. Even came with a dash cam.

i love my product, because it is good, it get's me to me destinations without any problems. overall, i have no complaints.

This is a great item ! Love the tech on this one. Camera and navigate. Go get one, you will love it! Best in it's class

I really like the way it does the streets. I would recommend it easy to use.

My GPS is still working well. It's now about two years! However software updates are a little tricky since they have changed since I bought the product.

I only got to use this product for 2 weeks. The screen was not as responsive. But the dash cam is pretty cool. After that it was stolen. I called both Magellan and Best Buy and neither are willing to replace the item. They said I needed to purchase additional insurance to get a replacement. Hence, the 1 star.

I have only used Garmin prior to this purchase and dont think i will go with anytning else but garmin

Replaced an older version Magellan Roadmate GPS with this one the day before leaving for vacation. Very easy to program, spot on directions and like all the extra features such as lifetime free map updates, one touch menu for quick access to addresses you have stored, preloaded points of interest, the DVR that records sound and video from the receiver's camera to a micro SD card, and much more.

some good options, however it is a bit slow connecting to satellite on start up.

Okay but not as good as my first GPS. After only a few uses the voice sounds broken up sometimes.

Happy to make the purchase. I found it difficult to use my phone and not being able to hear the directions. I was having to look at my phone while driving!!
