nice flat design and the scissor style keys are pretty quiet. Touch ID is pretty fast also. it can be used while charging if the battery goes dead on you.

Usual Apple Quality & Style, Nothing Groundbreakin

What can I say? It’s a keyboard. Slick stylings as usual with Apple. I like the Touch ID button. Since I work from home and use external monitors, it makes it quicker to log in or anything I need my password for.
As for purchasing from Best Buy, you’re better off going into the retail store vs online ordering. They mailed the keyboard as is in original box with a label slapped on it. Could have easily been stolen, not to mention the potential damage. Box definitely arrived dirty and beat up, but the keyboard was thankfully fine. A call to customer service to complain was brushed off.

Hands down the best decision I’ve made. I love having the numeric keypad option. I’m so used to it from my work computer- and being able to have it at home to use is amazing. It’s lightweight and couldn’t be better

I’m Apple junky, I purchased the Magic Keyboard without Touch ID and decided to upgrade to the Touch ID version and I love it. I use my MacBook Pro + Keyboard for remote working and I find it makes life very easy. I love the sleekness and it matches my MacBook Pro color:)

My favorite Apple keyboard. I've had most of the Apple keyboards in the past 15 years and this is my favorite so far. Nice haptic feedback, love the touch ID, and a num pad is critical for me. I wish it charged via USB-C, but since Apple has now moved the iPhones to USB-C, I'm sure future models of this will too.
It's great, what else is there to say.

The Logitech MX Keys for Mac is better

I had to get a new keyboard that was Mac compatible out the box, and really hoped this was going to be worth the cost. It definitely has a much higher build quality than almost any other keyboard, including similarly priced gaming ones. And I love that it has Touch ID (which also works great, never had an issue). And it arguably has the fastest keystroke response time of any wireless keyboard I’ve ever tried.
However, there are 2 cons that were just too big for me to keep it. First, the keyboard not only doesn’t have any height/angle adjustment, but the default is way too flat to type comfortably for extended periods of time. $30 keyboards have had this feature for decades. And second, I just can’t for the life of me understand why they would sell a keyboard - for $200 nonetheless - without giving it backlit keys. Even if you don’t sit in complete darkness, it’s still nice to have. And again, cheaper keyboards have this, and even let you change the brightness.
Ultimately, these were just too annoying for me to continue using it for 50+ hours a week. I got the Logitech MX Keyboard for Mac, which is $80 cheaper. It’s not just less expensive, it’s also a better product. So I unfortunately will be returning this.

This keyboard does exactly as it advertises, but it also charges you apple prices to get there. Ultimately I am very happy with this keyboard. Would I buy another if this breaks? No. The added feature of the fingerprint reading doesn't justify the huge pricetag for this keyboard.

Excellent. Really dislike the partial keyboard missing a number pad and this is an excellent replacement that should be standard. Tempted by Logitech multi-computer with backlight keyboard, but the feel just wasn't there. Do wish Apple would add backlighting. Finger ID works great and glad didn't skimp with the prior model.

When I got the new 24" imac M1 it comes with a magic keyboard but not this one. I missed having the numeric keyboard so I ended up buying this one. A bit pricey but with touch ID its pretty sweet.

This is a fantastic keyboard as long as you have a Mac with the Apple M1 chip, if you have an intel powered Mac this keyboard is not compatible but if you do have an Apple M1 powered Mac this keyboard is top notch, as with all apple products it’s pricey up front but will last a long time. Love it!
