For a VoIP phone service and with the first year free, amazing product. Cheaper than the cable companies and other competitors. Quality is great. Customer service is very responsive with any questions. Highly recommend.

Easy to install and works and sounds just as good as our Comcast voice that was ridiculously expensive. Number transfer only took a few days.

I have been using this device since it came to market in late 2000's. I have used 3 versions and they have all performed great. I recommend you connect to router rather than PC incase you have to shutdown or it goes to sleep. This way your phone is active and you can also forward it to your cell phone and literally take it with you. It also has an App that you can use in Canada, Mexico or anywhere in the world. Your voicemail is also sent to you in an email. All this for less than $6 a month!

It works well but you have to have a single cordless phone with multiple handsets to use as replacement of traditional landline phone. Also, setup is easy but setting up voicemail and other features are not user friendly. They need better instructions and a customer service number to call for questions. I've not been able to find a customer service number

Works great! The calls are crystal clear and have not experiencing any lag or dropped calls. I tried OOMA service and returned the equipment after a few days and tried the MagicJack and am so glad I did. This is far better than OOMA in every day! Installation was simple and it worked right out of the box.

This is a great affordable option. I needed to keep my parent's phone number for a little while after they passed. This was affordable, easy to set up, and allowed me to port their number over. Way cheaper than moving it to a cell phone or getting home service through a carrier.

I use this at home to save on our landline fees. It was easy to activate and it saved me a lot of money every month. One of the cheapest and most reliable VoIP solution i ever used. I was also able to port my current number to my Magic Jack account. It's got the basics I need for a landline and I love that I am saving money too

Just what I needed. Capability for an emergency land line when cell service goes down in my area. Easy set up. I got to pick a local telephone #. No need to pay large monthly fees for a land line service that I hope to never use. Just a one time fee. Works as advertised. Easy set up.

My old MagicJack needed replacing. (I had it for 10 years). This newer version is great. I can plug it into my router and run it 24/7. I can also send faxes with this. This thing works so good I may just get rid of my landline. Easy to install

We have been using Magic Jack for probably 5 years and really like it. So when we needed another line, it was a no-brainer to purchase another. This one we plan on using for vacations overseas. (Yes, if you have hotel wifi overseas, you can call the US for free by plugging the phone into the Magic Jack and plugging the Magic Jack into your PC.) The price includes 1 year of service. After that, yearly service price varies depending on how many years of service you purchase. For us, the city tax we pay for 911 service is more than the yearly cost of the Magic Jack service. We really appreciate Magic Jack sending us emails with audio voice messages when we are not home. We purchased this at Best Buy because sometimes internet businesses send used or defective products. This product is relatively easy to set up. You have the option of either plugging it directly into your router or into your PC. Very inexpensive so long as you have internet service.

This item saves my boyfriend a phonebill every month. This Magic Jack is wonderful, perfect, and cheap. 5 years ago, he asked for help feom best buy with the app. The app said that Fort Wayne was not a city when he type it in. He refunded the Magic jack, and stuck with the phone company. However he bought another one this year, typed Fort Wayne as one word, (Fortwayne) and it works fine. You would have thought Best Buy could have figured that out 5 years ago , saving my boyfriend $45 a month. He is very happy he figured out the app now. It gives a landline phone on our Panasonic in every room.

So very sick of AT&T, so I decided to go to Best Buy and purchase the Magic Jack. So very glad, best purchase ever. I know a lot of people feel a cell phone is all they need in a house, but for me I need a phone close by because of my disability if I should have a problem and the phone is in the back of the apartment, I may have a problem getting help and for the price for a year you can not beat it. I love the Magic Jack.

If you have an older member of your family. That refuses to disconnect that $50 a month land line and give up the number of 40 years! This is the solution that I have used for over 20 years. Porting that old number takes a few days if AT&T is involved! Go from $50 month to $50 a year!!! I found it in the 90’s living in rural AR where every call was long distance. This allowed my mother in law to call a local number and talk to the grandkids all she wanted and vise versa.

At present time, just about every store is closed. COVID-19 has everything a mess, including shipping times! Amazed, my local Best Buy had one. Store pick up was a breeze. Very old unit (like 2009) crashed. With out This, no phone! Once home, only took a few minutes, BAM, better calls, seeing how this unit replaced a very old unit! Thanks to my local Best Buy!

Tried Magicjack in 2012...was disappointed. Poor phone call quality. This new version purchased in 2020 works excellently. Perfect call quality, can be used with cell phone via app for texting. One thing. When signing up they ask of you want Enhanced 911 calling. They mention there may be a charge. What they do not mention is if you click yes, you can not change your mind. There will be an additional charge weather you use the service or not added right after you finish setup. Also if you use Magic Jack via the app, the E911 service will not work, only with land lines connected directly to the unit. Still, for $60 a year for good landline, I recomend.
