Super easy installation and set up. Even porting your old number is simple. This will save me several hundred bucks in the first year, and continue to pay off in the coming years. Great value!

I’ve had a magic jack since gen1 and have found them useful. What I like about the 2023 edition (which is probably much the same as 2022, 2021, etc) is just how easy it works and the associated app. Without even having the magic jack plugged in and connected to anything, I can use the app to make calls. How sweet is that! If you need an on-the-go VOIP solution, I highly recommend getting the MJ and the app.

I know that phone service can really take a lot of money, but not with MagicJack for less than $50.00 a year I have phone service with national coverage and my own phone number. Then, there is not a limit to how many minutes it uses. Comes in handy when your on hold for 45 minutes. It is easy to install and uses your wifi. This is a life saver because where I live the cell phone towers do not give very good coverage and the land line was not put in correctly. It is a no brainier to use MagicJack. It works as long as the wifi is up and running. Then, this is another great thing about MagicJack when your using your cell phone (Tracfone) you can use your MagicJack number instead with the MagicJack app. It really saves on my pay by the minute from the Tracfone. I am always using the MagicJack when away from home with the cellphone. MagicJack you have come along way from the days of the MagicJack plug in to your computer.

Used this to improve over our wifi calling at home. Easy to set up. Quality so far seems pretty good. For the money way better than being spectrum or att monthly for service.

I use MagicJack for 5 years. Bought one more device for another line. Wired connection to router required. No WiFi supported. Old phone number can be transferred to MagicJack. Today's AT&T land line costs more then $120 per month, MagicJack costs up to $50 for a full year service. No monthly bills. Quality of sound I would rate 9 out of 10. Service has free long distance, low rate for international calls. The only one minor negative feature I found. I was not able to connect to US numbers to use an other brand call card.

I have had MagicJack for several years and have enjoyed the value most of all. The portability and convenience of being able to have my phone number anywhere I have an Internet connection is another plus. I bought this as a replacement device because my device was getting old and not functioning well. This new device works great!

I have kept a MagicJack as a backup phone for almost 10 years now, using my cell phone my primary. I used the original version for years and needed a new device. This works even better than the original. While I don't know how this would work if trying to use it full-time, the sound quality was great on the calls I made.

Took a bit to get it up and running. Had to contact the company via text and ultimately contact my internet service provider to open a gateway so it could be used. Once that happened it was rocking. Haven’t had an issue yet. Also, we definitely feel like we have gotten less robo calls on it and don’t have that feature turned on to block them. Recently I was unable to make a three way call so I need to investigate that more but overall we are happy with the devise and the money we are saving is fantastic!

The reason this product was purchased was to move to a less expensive phone service and keep our phone number. MagicJack was a great choice as it is inexpensive, easy to setup and overall works great. I requested my current phone number be ported to the new service (Paid Extra but worth it) and it was completed in 3 days. Other features such as Mobile Phone App, Automated Call Screening, and Voicemail also work great. The Automated Call Screening feature is extremely effective as I used to receive numerous automated calls per day and now I don't receive any. I have been using this for a month now and I would definitely recommend!

I was skeptical about this. Thought maybe there was a "catch", but no. It's actually pretty easy to set up and seems to work perfectly well. I didn't port my number, but it's an option. I've had it for a few weeks now with no issues. Phone works like normal. The only down side is if the internet goes out so does your phone. But I use my cell 99% of the time anyway. That's the reason I eliminated my land line in the first place. There's a small annual fee to keep your phone on, but if you do the math, its far less than the cable company charges. I stream tv and now I stream phone too. I only give the cable company money for internet service. Period.

Replaced cox phone with a magic jack for considerably less money. Be sure to keep your current phone service until you successfully port your existing phone number. Porting is completed quickly by magic jack for a one time fee

Setup was simple. All you need is a working internet connection and the website walks you through step by step. Took about 30 minutes total, but that is because I was also setting up a new phone, not just the service. Cannot believe how inexpensive it is either!

Nearly the same price as a yearly subscription (which is included in the price), so it is definitely worth it as an upgrade if you have an older magicjack device. We replaced our previous unit and the sound quality is much better. Initially i was going to order this through the magicjack website, but they wanted to tack on nearly $15 more in fees so Best Buy was the way to go!

It was easy to install and use. The existing phone number transferred over smoothly and in reasonable time. Customer service appeared to give only cookie cutter answers without addressing my questin in a meaningful technical way. I am a little leary whenever auto-pay is a requirement. For these reasons have given it 4 stars instead of more. Time will tell if they deserve more (or less).
