Went looking for a new tower that would allow me to play my online games, and didnt wanna break the bank, got way more out of this that i expected, Would say get this if you want a good option

This product did not work with Mac so I had to bring it back. Best Buy allowed the return. So I cannot review the product only the service of Best Buy.

Have purchased and used previous version of Sound Forge and really pleased the new version interface is consistent with earlier versions but includes some useful enhancements

Bought this for my 17yr old b-day. He loves it! It takes time to learn how to use it. If you are serious about making music, this program is the one to buy.

Would recommend this for beginners. Wish it was a little bit cheaper.

Used to own Sound Forge on my desktop when Sony owned the company, now I needed something for my laptop.

I got this for my husband at Christmas and boy does he love it! High quality all around, it does an awesome job.

Auditing, editing, creating, all music standards met. Very good software.

I bought SoundForge 12 for a new computer (Windows 10 Lenovo Laptop) because I had no trouble using SoundFroge 10 in the past. In this case, the new software won't work to make a simple voice recording. The standard Windows software will do a voice recording. So, I have tested the mic, the ability to play recordings and I have been in touch with Magix email support who is trying to help me, but their first instructions do not fix the problem. But really, on such a standard configuration for a new device, to do the most basic function- how can this be? And BestBuy's policy seems to be not to take open software boxes back. Next I will work with the Geeksquad because I have a 24/7 support membership. I am shocked how hard this is to implement.

I really can give a good rating because I can't figure out how to use it properly. I ordered on a whim. Will look to see if there are some YouTube videos on how to use.

It's probably just me! But Everytime I purchase one of these music processing programs, I end up giving up trying to use it and chucking it deeply into a closet. I play guitar and am looking for a simple way to record a song and vocal. This program doesn't offer that. I'm sure this program is technically fine for someone who is tech savey, but it's just no help for someone like me. I miss my old reel to reel recorder!

Very nice to use it when you’re making your own music

Although the packaging says it needs 1 GB of RAM, I get an error message and can't start a single new track. And I have 6 GB, by the way. Also, configuring the I/O in Windows is a pain and is not explained well. This software needs some work. AND I haven't even gotten it to work yet (pending a RAM upgrade).
