You can pay more for a "smart" player, but as most new TV's already have all the apps you'll ever need, this player does what you need it to do. Easy to set up-plug it in and connect an HDMI cable to it and your TV, and that's it. Picture is great and controls are simple enough . If you already have a smart 4K TV, this player is a good buy.

This is a basic 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player without the extra bells and whistles. But you are only paying half the price of the better models. It does the job and has a very sharp picture and it even up-scales regular Blu-Rays discs to almost 4K picture quality. Great entry level 4K HD Blu-Ray Player!

At $59 this is a surprisingly good player. Simple to hook up and setup. Picture quality is good on 4K and up conversion is good on Blue ray. The only thing lacking would be a separate optical output for audio to a receiver. And since it is a tiny unit it does a tiny remote. Basically, for the price of a decent budget Blue ray unit you have 4K.

I returned the Samsung UBD-K8500, to get this player and both are great! I just didn’t have space for the Samsung. It’s too big (the design was flawless) . This player fits perfectly. The quality is great. It upscales to 4K as welI! I don’t care for the Smart player options, because I already have a Samsung 4K Smart TV and I don’t need double Netflix apps on two devices

I bought this item to use with my new LG tv. It was very easy to install, and for me that's important. Most of my movies are older dvd's and they look great on this player. I wish I would have acquired this and some other LG products long ago.

I bought this on a deal of the day for 49.99 yes a 4k player for 49.99 unbelievable right ? Because regular bluray player are about the same price and I’m so happy with my player is not noisy as the lg up970 and its half of the price less even when is not on sale if you are thinking of upgrading to a 4k Blu-ray player definetly think about this magnávox you won’t be dissapointed

Got the deal of the day for great price. Really good quality picture and sound. Doesn’t have WiFi features. I didn’t need it because I have a smart tv. The usb doesn’t read typical video files. Still recommend for smart tv owners who don’t need another smart device and just want a UHD player.

This UHD bluray player does exactly what it says. Plays DVD bluray and 4k with HDR. It loads them quickly and has a easy to use GUI menu. For $50 (sale price, so worth it) it it was the original $200, heck no... buy a Xbox One S instead.

This is an excellent compact 4K player for the price. It also does a great job of upscaling Blu-rays and DVDs. There is no wireless streaming, but you shouldn't need it since the majority 4K TVs already come with this feature. Try to get it on the one day sale and its a steal. I got two!

Not sure why this is the only model available like this - a 4K Blu-Ray player with no connected apps or WiFi. Literally everything else in my entertainment center can play Netflix, etc. If you don’t need another “smart” item, save yourself over $100 and grab this.

These magnavox and philips blu ray players are amazing for what they do. Just needed something to play the DVD and Blu Rays that werent on net flix etc. Dont really use the smart features as I have another dedicated device for that but the picture quality is SOLID.

I bought myself a UHD (4K) monitor, but had no player to play any UHD content, and everything I looked at was well north of 100 bucks. This is the only player below that. And it turns out to be a pretty good player.

Purchased this as a gift for my mother in law. We wanted a simple to use Blu-ray player. Once you turn off the annoying automated voice, it’s perfect. The size of the control is a joke. Aside from those two things, you can’t go wrong with this Blu-ray player for $50.

I paid $50 for this player when it was on sale and that is a great price for what it does. It just plays 4Ks. I don't need any streaming capabilities on it since I have other devices for that, just needed something to play the discs and this player does that well.

This Blue ray player has a nice crisp picture, matches my TV perfectly. The price was very fair and the shipping quick. Setting up the player was a breeze. I recommend this particular player for sure, good quality, easy use, and fits almost any budget.

For the price and quality of picture, you honestly can't beat it. Reads 4K / Blu-ray with no problem. The software patch that it needed took only a minute to download and immediately following that, no issues with playing anything.
