    It does okay with just the camera, but the magnet isn't quite strong enough to hold the volta. The clip was bigger and stronger than i had thought prior to purchase and works well as a base.

    I am using this on my DJI Osmo Action camera and it works perfect, clip it to my hat, or shirt. the magnet works OK, but I would not drive with it on a vehicle - but if you need to stick up the camera somewhere stationary on a steel pole or something metal like a filing cabinet - it totally works for that too.
