I really like this product because it is easy and straightforward to install and provides great protection. It also provides backups which is fantastic.

This doesnt have pop ups every time you go to a websight. It does help prevent phishing and lets you know if a websight is safe.

I discovered this software about ten years ago. I tried the free version then but didn't like manually updating, so I upgraded to Premium and have not looked back. I was sold when I discovered BestBuy offered this software with a digital key. I've renewed my subscription via Best Buy for the past six years with no problems downloading or locating my keys. Every computer I build has Bytes installed.

I had previously used Malware Bytes at the behest of a local IT consultant who took a look at a desktop for me that had run into some issues. I recently bought a laptop from Best Buy that came with 6 months of Webroot and Geek Squad recommend supplementing with this program as the newest versions of each do not conflict with each other and cover features that the other program does not. Using the two in tandem removes the need for other programs and I was able to uninstall both CCleaner and Spybot Search & Destroy as a result. The program can run a full system scan in minutes and the impact on boot time is negligible (I am booting in less than 30 seconds using a laptop with an SSD).

I was looking for a way to get computer virus protections without the monthly subscriptions and this is the best way to do it. Plus it was very easy to install with email delivery instead of a physical copy. So if your tired of monthly subscriptions but still need virus/malware/ web browser coverage this is the way to go!
