I like the “The Reaper” name for the bow but Mandy is not a good movie, but at least Nicolas Cage is all in on the movie. The issue is that like most movie goers; I'm not all in.....

I was pumped since the first trailer debuted! The setting was dark! The music was amazing the visuals were stunning! There was no way this coulda failed! Then the story rolled... Nicolas cages overacting continued and the movie fell apart. What a shame. This had huge potential

Worst purchase ever. Trailer looked great but the movie was confusing and made no sense to me. I wish I never bought it. Waste of money.

"Mandy" won't be for everyone as it is unbelievably weird, purposely slow in the first half and features one of Nicolas Cage's most gonzo performances to date (which is the key as to why this film works in my opinion). The 2nd half of the film goes completely off the rails in a way that you do not see often in modern films. Some will love the movie such as I did but others will hate it. There truly is no middle ground with this film.

This movie wont be for everyone. It is definitely one heck of ride that will have you feel like you're tripping out. This movie of love and revenge is this good thanks to Nic Cage. The movie is so stylish and shot unlike anything before. If you like over the top violence, gore, and blood check this movie out. It all comes together in the last hour!
