Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the fun and engaging gameplay, with many praising the open world and ease of use. The story is also frequently cited as a positive aspect, though some find the controls challenging and the game repetitive after a while. A few players mentioned encountering glitches, and the camera controls were also a source of some frustration. Despite these drawbacks, the game's generally positive reception is bolstered by its price point and the availability of a free PS5 upgrade.

Shark Week and Jaws Fans, you will be pleased!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleeper of a game that may seem like a pass but is really fun to play. Game has a minor learning curve but the mission can be a lot of fun. If you are a fan of shark week then this is a must buy for you.

It's Sharktastic
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Shark killing spree romp with humor and craziness. Its underwater lock on can be an issue on some encounters and it can get repetitive after a bit. The game as a whole is a fun experience and just the right length. Collectibles and challenges are rewarding and its an easy Platinum.

MAN EATERRR
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.by far the best game i’ve played in awhile! the story behind it is unreal and comes with a whole different experience than you’re thinking! it’s worth the shot to try out! it’s not just a shark in the water eating whatever is in it’s path, it’s a whole packed adventure!

Definition of just having fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is tons of fun to play. The swimming feels great and just chomping down on things is oddly satisfying. It is outlandish but in the best ways. The camera can be finicky but once you get used to it, no biggie.

A bloody good game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a lot of fun. Start as a baby shark and grow and evolve as you eat other fish (and people) while completing various tasks. It’s a little violent/bloody, so not a game for the little kids.

Good game to escape to in bite-sized chunks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completed the game in under 8 hours, and had fun the whole time doing so. Comical amounts of blood on screen when eating people/wildlife/etc, but done in such a way that it is more over the top funny than graphic.

So much fun
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes i need a game that I can just sit down for an hour two and casually play that doesnt require a whole lot of thinking, and Maneater is that game. I play the missions, but honestly just swimming around and wreaking havoc is more than enough for me!.

Cult Hit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man Eater is one of the funniest games of 2020 letting you play as a shark in a grand theft auto clone. I don't wish to give too much away about the charm this game has but don't stress about your collectibles too much until you're an adult shark.

The game is too short
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly loved the game!!! I spent 40 dollars on a game that I beat in 17 hours. Not only beat it I 100% the whole game. I hope they release a DLC. The game is just too short for the cost.

Repetitive open world action
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is very repetitive, you unlock new areas along the way and do essentially the same missions over and over and collect items. The story is very tongue in cheek and may be very funny to some. The game can be completed 100% in 13 hours or so. The PS5 version is advertised as running at 60 FPS, while it does reach 60 it does not stay there consistently, actually has severe hiccups throughout the game. Its a good game to play while listening to a podcast or audio book, something dumb and easy to pass the time.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You don't have to think about it very much, you just get to be a shark and terrorize the waters and land. Not a perfect game but its definitely fun, pick this up once its closer to $20

Liked Jaws Unleashed? You'll probably like this to
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're a fan of Jaws Unleashed from PS2, or just looking for a shark game in general, this should be up your ally. I wouldn't call it a shark simulator because there are arcadey elements elements in there, such as over the top moves.

Great fun, but short.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an impulse buy that was fun but was completed, with all trophies, in about 24 hours of game play. Look for all the pop culture references/Easter eggs in the game.

Jawsome
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is more of a casual game to play as its fun. Yeah it it does get repetitive but the whole point of the game is to terrorize and evolve. For what I got it for at $7.99 with a free PS5 upgrade it is worth the money.

||Posted .
