This is a great purchase for the money, if you don't need something super fancy. The only issue I have is with the head. It tends to unscrew easily, so you have to keep an eye on it during prolonged use.

Easy to Use no fuss monopod. i used this with a Zhiyun V2 Gimbal and a Sony A6500. It was mainly used as a crane style jib. I can say its very sturdy and does not flex as much as i thought which is a good thing!

had a great idea to use this monopod but not getting the full potential so I need a hurricane style foot attachment to get more stability to hold my camera better so if you know exactly what you need this style for then it is a great monopod, light and strong.

When extended legs are used, it holds the camera more steadily and yet gives you the ability to move and re-position the camera easily. Spikes for the legs are included. When collapsed, I keep it as a sort of pistol handle under the camera to make my camera more steady when the lens is extended out. The cushioning at the top makes it so easy to throw over my shoulder and carry the camera around. Sturdy construction yet lightweight. I am 72 and only 5"3". Highly recommend this product.

It’s a little short to use as a standing camera monopod if a person is 5’7” but I have a full sized monopod for that. If sitting or kneeling I’m confident it will hold up to professional use with a large telephoto ex300-2.8.

This is a well made monopod! I would have liked an all black one but after getting this the red accents are very subtle and have grown on me. I will be adding a tilt head to this so I can go to vertical format easily. Other than that, the lock mechanisms work smoothly and lock tight, having a rubber foot and optional metal spike included is a nice extra. It has a very substantial feel without being heavy or clunky. I'm 5'11" so the 59" height is perfect for my SLR. I like to take wildlife photography so I'm often in the woods under less than ideal lighting conditions. Even with a high ISO setting and image stabilized lens the extra support is nice, Manfrotto makes quality equipment and this monopod is no exception. With the addition of a tilt or ball head it will be perfect. 5 stars for quality and value 4 for needing at the very least a tilt head to make it perfect for still photography, although if you're using it for video it's probably good to go as is. By the way, it's probably sturdy enough to use as a hiking pole!

I own several tripods and wanted a monopod to steady my camera shots. It is easy to set up and get in place. I did purchase a ball head to place on top of this for added versatility. I am constantly impressed with Manfroto quality. This is also lightweight and easily fits on the side of my camera backpack.

I love this monopod, I just wish it had legs so it could stand up. However I travel doing weddings and this is compact enough to go into luggage.
