Generally the small table top style tripods can barely hold a point and shoot camera steady enough for a long exposure shot. I purchased this when I didn't want to carry my regular tripod with me on a trip to Orlando. A rocket launch delay earlier in the week meant that I had a rare opportunity to photograph a night launch and I needed something that could keep my dslr steady enough. This exceeded my expectations. If it weren't windy it could balance a telephoto lens steady. It easily keeps wide-angels and standard lenses steady. It is nice and light so I plan to always keep it with me when I'm traveling light like I was on this trip. The pictures below are with a D5000, a 50mm 1.4G, and this tripod.

Not even making this up. I took this bad boy out to Nisqually with my 70D, and my Sigma Sport 150-600mm beast of a lens, and it HELD IT UP. It's like 7 pounds for camera right there. Get this little guy, pretty amazing purchase for someone looking for a travel tripod. I lay down in the grass for hours with that camera, and this lens keep things around the perfect height. Great purchase all around. 5/5 would buy again.. If it breaks, I mean.

The tripod is very stable. The little rubber feet keep it from skidding on slick tables. The adjustable swivel head works perfectly without slipping or letting go of the adjustment. I use mine for holding a micro projector. I highly recommend this product. Hey, it also looks like a propeller, what could be better than that!

I've only had it about a month, but I'm loving it so far! Built very sturdily and the ballhead is definitely able to hold more than it's official weight rating (I've put my Nikon D600 on it with a pro lens and it held tight!). Folds down pretty small to fit in any bag, and it's even a nice-looking design. I'm a fan!

We have bought plenty of lower cost handheld tripods in the past and they typically are low grade aluminum and fall apart relatively quickly. This model is sturdy, well made and has an ergonomic grip we love. We do alot of crowd footage. This really helps to steady and hold the camera high. Highly recommend it; especially for the price.

The rubberized feet/legs and nice density make this sit on a smooth surface well. The cord hanging didn't pull it from its location, it just sat where it needed to very well. The swivel head and overall quality construction makes this a very solid and reliable tripod.

I have a few but this one is the most sturdy and perfect size for carrying around. It can even hold my Nikon DSLRs however my heaviest D810 will drift down a little when in an angle shot. I mostly use it for smaller cams.

I use this with all of my cameras including the Go Pro. It's a great little tripod, light weight, simple to use. It does not fall over even during gusty wind situations. MUST HAVE FOR ANY TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

    Surprisingly Useful

I have always had full-sized tripods and monopods, so this is the first miniature tripod I have ever owned or used. I have to say that, considering its size, this tripod is surprisingly useful. The legs open wide enough to create a very stable platform for a small camera such as the ones I use it for: Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M3 and Canon PowerShot G7 X. The only complaint I have is that the ball head is somewhat finicky. What I mean is that pushing the small red button to release the tension on the ball head doesn't always seem to work well enough so that manipulating the ball head is difficult. The only solution I have found is to release the small red button and then try again. Not the biggest issue, as I see it. Worse would have been an unstable tripod, which this is not.

I needed a compact tripod to use for table top macro shooting, table top video, and the occasional timer shot group pictures at family events and the like. This little sucker fits the bill perfectly. it is so compact you could actually stick it folded up in your back pocket. it does everything i need out of a compact tripod and comes in handy in so many situations. I was a little concerned at first about how sturdy it would be, but this little guy holds up my Canon 70D loaded with a 70-300mm f4-5.6L lens (yes the big heavy all metal "L") without any problem. I even slapped the Yongnuo YN568EX II speedlight on and it still had no problem If you are looking for a compact tripod for a compact digital camera. this bad boy will do perfectly. If you have an entry level DSLR with a kit lens, PFFTT, No problem! If you have a "prosumer level" DSLR with a mid sized Professional telephoto lens, you're still fine. On sale for $20 at the holidays,it was a NO BRAINER, and even at full price, its still well worth it!

    Sturdy tripod for close-up work

The Pixi Tripod is a quality item. The legs spread far enough apart to provide a stable platform so the camera won 't topple. The legs are solid metal, not tubular aluminum or plastic for maximum sturdiness. The swivel/tilt adjustment has a single button release/lock and can be repositioned with one hand while steadying the camera with the other. I use this tripod for close-up photography of items to be presented for on-line selling.

Great little tripod. I use it with my Fuji X E1 mirrorless camera. Great size n fits n my small camer bag. I wouldn't recommend 4 use on a full size DLSR. Due 2 the size n weight of a full size DSLR. N if u use a large lens it might get a little too heavy. But it will work.

This is a very handle little pocket tripod. Light, yet strong enough to hold my FX body with a normal lens without tipping. I've even used it on a level surface mounted to a telephoto lens mount. Nice for when you don't want to pack your standard tripod or don't have much room for one where you're shooting.

This tripod is worth the high cost. I've been used to using $2 very small flex tripod for tabletop recordings on a traditional camcorder. When I bought my new Sony camcorder I realized that the mount hole is near the front of the camcorder instead of the middle - which causes imbalance so I had to go out and find a tripod that is sturdy enough for the mount location and this one IS. Its swivel head is really convenient feature and its extremely sturdy. For its $15 price, its worth it. I wish it was a little smaller but its a great product. Highly recommend.

Like the title it's a great sturdy stand. Feels solid and no worries about it falling over. The ability to rotate the attached item is good. The only thing that would make this better would be if there was a way to recenter the item after you have moved it.

Higher quality than I expected from a mini tripod at this price; it doesn't feel cheap. The ball head and the button that adjusts it both feel pretty robust. It worked great for my mirrorless camera, and it doubled as a grip for more stable video.
