    This is a table top tripod. Can't use it outdoor as much unless there is a rock you can prop it up. It was not possible to set it on the ground unless you go on the ground as well.

    Works with every Camera I own and it was $5 cheaper than what Fry's was charging at their store ... I also like the fact when I fold the legs in I can also use it as a handle to take pictures or record video. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Manfrotto = Quality!

    Purchased this Manfrotto Pixi mini tripod at Target for a clearance price of $14 buckaroos! I should have bought another one.. it was at a great price and the build quality is awesome! It definitely does not have that loose/plasticky feel to it! Big plus! Great weight and balance, very light and compact but with some good weight to it! The legs and ball joint feel stiff and very sturdy, the ball joint has a "push and hold" lock mechanism/button to it, (Manfrotto logo button for the head joint to move around). The ball joint feels tight and again pretty sturdy. It could hold some weight and it will stay tight with no slipping of any kind! I see many reviews of this product stating that it can hold a DSLR sized camera with some pretty hefty lenses! That's pretty good as I can use it with my Canon 6D! I plan to use this with my GoPro Hero 4 Black action camera as it is more than strong enough to hold it and it doubles as a durable/useful hand held pod for the GoPro as well! I also have the Manfrotto compact action tripod (old version with removable tripod plate) which i have had for almost 4 years now, it is still in great condition and no problems whatsoever! That goes to show Manfrotto offers some great tools for your photo/video gadgets at affordable prices while still maintaining excellent quality!

    The best tripod I have found in its size

    Let's make one thing clear: this is not the one and only tabletop tripod you will ever need. But if you are looking for one in this size, you can hardly do better. This tripod is far beyond the usual generic little tripods you can find, everything about it screams quality. The build and finish is excellent, and for what it's meant to do, it works flawlessly. Of course it has it limits, don't overload it with a Canon 1dx or Nikon D4. But for use with a reasonably sized camera it's a great little option. I love mine.

    A Manfrotto Quality Product

    I own other Manfrotto products, and this one, though costing only a few pennies, especially as compared to my primary Manfrotto tripod rig at around $1,000, did not disappoint one bit. Much sturdier than it's size indicates, it will be perfect for all restricted baggage travel and many other low level and unique video & photo creative opportunities! Very glad I purchased this mini-tripod!

    Good addition to my photos and videos arsenal - it really enhances the ability to shoot nice low shots and not worry about it getting knocked over.
