Works really good and feel like good quality so far

Got this as a gift for my fiancé and he loves it!!

Purchase was overpriced for items included. Only one stand to charge one piece and one cable to charge the other without a stand. No case for items, just a plastic packaging bag.

The Manscaped Power Duo Plus is a cleverly marketed grooming package for anyone who wants everything to stay nice and tidy. I’m sure you’ve all seen the Gronkowski ads promoting the manscaped Lawn Mower. They’re funny commercials promoting the ability to shave your nether regions without having to worry about abrasions like a normal trimmer. I decided to give myself the manscaped treatment and have tested out the trimmer for your groin, ear and nose and have my results! The Electric Groin trimmer or “Lawn Mower 4.0” as they call it is a sleek looking device. The unit needed to be charged out the box and fits nicely in the charging holder provided. After charging I put the Mower to the test and I can confidently say the ads are true. The trimmer gets the job done while simultaneously not having to worry about clipping yourself in the wrong areas. I came away impressed. I would recommend the trimmer to anyone wanting to get a close shave and not worry about hurting yourself in the process. The fact that its waterproof makes it useable in the shower as well, which is a nice touch. The Manscaped Ear and Nose trimmer is a first for me. I’m 38 so lately I have noticed hairs growing from new places in my ears, which is kinda weird and unsightly to me. So suddenly I have a need for a ear and nose trimmer. The device charges quickly as well and from what I can tell so far the battery life is good. The trimmer does the job well and I was able to trim all my nose and ear hairs. The one thing I did notice that I’m not sure if it was just my trimmer or not but when the button is flipped into the on position it takes a very particular motion to get it to move down to turn off. It took me putting my nail on the top of the switch and applying direct pressure. I couldn’t do it with one hand just sliding it down with my thumb and I’m not sure why the switch was that hard to shift. Again it might just be my particular trimmer. The final piece of the set was the Crop Cleanser. I usually shy away from using any type of special soap but I gave this a go and it seemed to work fine. It says it helps to reduce odors which I can’t really agree with since your goods end up smelling like a mountain forest afterward. All in all I’m not sure its something I would buy regularly but its cool that it was included. Overall I think the Power Duo Plus is a great product for anyone looking to trim their nether regions and unsightly ear and nose hair. The company Manscaped has a pretty extensive website along with a beard trimmer and other soaps and products that I suggest checking out if you like the initial purchase.

It works well to trim the body but can't trim the beard with it as well. For the price, it would be nice to be able to do both.

Rarely used. And suddenly out of nowhere it stopped working. What a waste of money.

Sharp Pains when using nose trimmer. Everything else is fine but when a large portion of the package doesnt work, it is a 3 star.

It cuts the skin, and it doesn't suppose to. But the nose trimmer it ok

I would only recommend the item to be used with the guards on. Item mentions it doesn’t cut you but it definitely still does. It does great with the guards on, but for a product to promote doesn’t cut its a little off.

I bought this pacagke didnt last me 6 months it stopped working for no reason. I dont recommend this product will fail for sure. And the company dont have any solution, exepct buying another product!!

I have heard about manscaped for a long time, but like most men I was content with using my trusty electric razor that was probably gifted to me 5 Christmas’s ago. The manscaped razor completely surprised me with its performance. It’s a bit nerve-racking when you are grooming “down there” and I have always opted for some sort of safety electric razor that would eliminate any chance of injury. However, the manscaped razor’s design is very well done. It’s a bit more risky to use but if you use it correctly you will get a very close shave without any injury. In fact, I have never had this close of a shave before. The important thing to remember is to go slow. You can use this in the shower, but I suggest using it while dry for the first few times, it’s easier to use with dry skin than warm wet skin. Both the nose hair trimmer and the body shaver are really quiet when operating and neither of them pull hair while you’re using it. The nose trimmers are so easy to use and doesn’t rip any nose hairs out, it does an incredible job with trimming. Overall, I am impressed with this simple design and how easy it is to “manscape” with these devices. It’s definitely a game changer and my fiancé agrees!

This is such a nice grooming set. The packaging is beautiful and feels really nice. There was no leaking or anything from the body wash and both trimmers came with a partial charge. The ear and nose trimmer is great. It's got a fun almost ergonomic shape or feel to it so its easy to hold on to and use. The ear and nose trimmer works very well and isn't very noisy at all unlike other trimmers we've tried in the past. This feels like it has solid construction and should last for some time. The trim was very nice and even. The personal trimmer is also very solid feeling with a similar feel and shape to the ear and nose trimmer. The personal trimmer has a built in little light for helping with some of the harder to see places a person might want to trim. The blades are sharp and provided a decent and consistent trim as well. This personal trimmer is also quieter than other trimmers used in the past. This kit comes with everything you need and worked very well. I'd highly recommend this kit.

Ive bled everytime ive used it. I dont see how anyone is satisfied with this. My braun works a lot better.

I never knew of the Manscaped brand before I received the product, and didn't really know what to expect from the Power Duo Plus. After a few days using, I've got mixed feelings but only on things that may not be issues for others. Is the shaver and nose trimmer excellent - yes. The main 'down there' shaver is well made, has a guiding light, and being shower safe is great. Where I am on the fence is that the unit uses wireless charging in a dock, which is cool but I don't have the bathroom space to keep it there all the time. So I (awkwardly) need to charge it in my home office where I have a desk and enough power outlets. It's a small annoyance which isn't Manscapes fault but I wish they provided an alternative charging approach on the shaver. The nose hair trimmer plugs in via USB C, making it easier to charge anywhere. I will say the Manscaped products feel premium, they use soft touch plastics and the switches, LED in-use lights, etc. are all what you would expect of a high end product. I am surprised Manscaped included a little pouch for all the shaver attachments (two blade guards, a cleaning brush + USB C cable). The only other thing to note about the Duo product is it also ships with a shaving cream aka "crop cleanser" ha! It works, it has a menthol hint of sandalwood smell - definitely masculine. It terms of shave effectiveness, quality, and premium feel, the Manscaped Duo is definitely worth 4 stars. For the ladies, if you're looking for a gift for you man to give him the hint to "tidy up" this definitely ticks the boxes and looks classy.

You’ve probably watched a YouTube video or listened to a podcast sponsored by Manscaped touting their superior quality in male grooming. I was curious about what value I could expect from a social media-forward advertising campaign because there are plenty of products that just aren’t up to snuff in that arena. And well, I was surprised as this kit was more capable than I had anticipated. To start, you’ll need to pull the nose hair trimmer and Lawn Mower 4.0 out of the box and fully charge both before use. The Lawn Mower charges on a dock that is attached to power via a provided USB-C cable and charging brick. The nose hair trimmer doesn’t fit on the dock and instead charges by directly plugging the USB cable into the back of the unit. One thing to note is that only one charging brick and USB-C cable is included in the box, so you’ll need to use that for both devices. The battery life seems to be reasonable, so it’s not like you’ll be charging both devices every single day, rather, you’ll likely charge each between every few grooming sessions. The nose hair trimmer was the first thing I tried. I have facial hair and do not enjoy looking like my mustache is growing out of my nose, so I tend to trim my nose hair weekly. The unit doesn’t feel as premium as the Lawn Mower 4.0, it’s a bit lighter and feels a bit more plastic. Additionally, it features a power toggle vs. a power button that can be found on the Lawn Mower, and it can take more force than I would like to turn the unit on or off. That said, what the unit lacks in aesthetics is made up for in how it performs. This thing is a nice little trimmer that is super quiet, water resistant and has a lot more power than the nose hair trimmer I’ve used for the last year or so. I was pleasantly impressed. The Lawn Mower is the star of this package. It features SkinSafe ceramic blades, a premium feel, a powerful motor, and a travel lock to prevent the unit from turning on while in a suitcase or backpack. It comes with two adjustable guards so you can trim yourself down as short or as long as you’d like. I used the guards to give myself a clean trimmed look without going bald. In my experience, you may have to make sure there’s enough tension on your body hair for the Lawn Mower to effectively trim, and it took me a pass or two to get it down. One thing that was not super clear in the instructions was how to enable and disable the travel lock, which I inadvertently enabled after my first use causing me to think that the unit may have died after 10 minutes. A quick google search taught me that pressing the power button 3 times in rapid succession enables and disables the travel lock on the device, and after following those directions I was back up and running. The Crop Cleanser groin wash is fantastic. It’s very pleasant smelling and leaves you feeling extremely clean, more than traditional soap I’d say. However, given the small size of the bottle, I imagine that it won’t last too long. Manscaped’s website sells the Cleanser in 6 oz bottles, and you can purchase them in 2-packs, though the price isn’t necessarily cheap. Given that, this may be a product I use sparingly for special occasions. There are a couple of cons to this package: - Only one charging cable and brick for both devices. - There is no included travel case, so while you can put the Lawn Mower in travel mode, you’ll have to find a place you’re comfortable stowing it so that it’s not contaminating your other personal items. - The power toggle on the nose hair trimmer isn’t the easiest to slide on and off. - The size of the bottle of Crop Cleanser is a bit on the small side and may not last long with daily use. Overall, I’m pleased to report that this product that gets so much love on new media (YouTube and Podcasts) is truly a good product worth a look at. The only thing preventing me from rating this 5-stars is the overly strong power toggle of the nose hair trimmer, and lack of an included travel case. All that said, having a dedicated grooming kit is almost a must so that you aren’t using the same device you use on your bathing suit areas on your face. And given that this is dedicated to that purpose, it’s an easy recommendation.
