First impression: My initial impression of the Manscaping Power Plud Duo set is that it is a high-quality grooming set. The packaging looks nice and it is well packaged. It comes with the Lawn Mower, which is a beard trimmer, an ear/nose trimmer, 2 adjustable guards for the Lawn Mower, cleaning brush, charging base stand for the Lawn Mower, USB cable, a bath wash, and user guides. The Lawn Mower fits into the charging base really nice, and the charging status is very easy to see. It also comes with an LED light, so you can see exactly where you are mowing without any shadows making it difficult to see. The user guides are very well done, easy to follow, and are on card stock rather than standard paper. Quality. Both shavers are made of a high-quality plastic. Also, both shavers have a really good shape and weight to them, and I like the way they fit in my hand. The momentary button on the Lawn Mower feels solid, but isn’t too stiff. The slide button on the ear/nose trimmer is solid and isn’t easily turned off by accident during use. The plastic charging stand for the Lawn is sturdy and holds the shaver without being easily tipped over. Performance: Ok, this is where the rubber meets the road. I was looking at two main areas for performance: the quality of the cut while dry, and the quality of the cut while in the shower. The quality of the cut while dry is top notch. It cut about 95% of the hair on the first pass. With two passes, it cuts 100% of the hair. In some areas, it only took 1 pass to cut 100% of the hair at the same height. My best trimmer before this can’t cut 100% in two passes, much less one. I know the blades aren’t as sharp as they were when I bought it, but the Lawn Mower has replaceable blades; so, when it gets dull, simply replace the blades. None of my other trimmers had this feature. I was really surprised with the wet cut. The Lawn Mower and the ear/nose trimmer cut my hair the same quality wet as it did dry. I don’t know if this is normal with wet cutters, but I am really surprised at the quality of the cut while in the shower. This now has me looking at waterproof electric razors because then I will no longer have to stand at the sink and shave and make a mess, I’ll simply do all shaving and trimming in the shower. Conclusion: I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Manscaped Grooming Kit, but I couldn’t be happier. It has taken a task I will usually put off and made it easy to do whenever I shower. The quality of the razors are very good, the ergonomics are great, and the ability to use it anywhere wet or dry and get the same quality cut is a deal breaker. If you are looking for a high-quality, electric, waterproof, trimming set, then I highly recommend this set.

The Manscaped Power Plus Duo pack is a great all-in-one package that includes all you need to take care of that excessive hair growth most of us men have to deal with in our most sensitive areas. It includes the “Lawn Mower” 4.0 SkinSafe rechargeable electric trimmer and the “Weed -------” 2.0 rechargeable electric trimmer which has a 360° rotary dual-blade system. In addition, the Manscaped “Crop Cleanser” ball wash and groin cleanser is included to clean and freshen things up after completing your ”yardwork”. First, I would just like to mention that I absolutely love the names Manscaped comes up with for their products. From “Lawn Mower” to “Weed ------” and “Crop Cleanser”, they really did a great job of coming up with clever names which makes talking about this sort of thing so much more normal. Needing products like this is nothing to be ashamed of and I like that Manscaped is working to make this sort of thing easier to talk about and deal with (and that goes for Best Buy as well for being willing to put these products out there). As for the trimmers themselves, I really like the fact that both of them are rechargeable and the package comes with a USB charging cable AND AC adapter. Many rechargeable products nowadays don’t include an AC adapter so it was nice to see one included with this set. Also included is a very nice charging dock for the Lawn Mower. Both trimmers feel like they are very high-quality and like they will last a long time although it should be noted that the trimmer blades for both units should be replaced about every three months to maintain full functionality which is expected with these types of products. When it comes to performance, all of the products in this pack do a great job. Using the Weed ------ in my nose took some getting used to as it kind of tickles but I’m happy to report no snagging of hairs or cutting of skin while using it and I know it will tickle less and less the more I use it. As for the Lawn Mower, I have had some bad experiences with other products in the past in terms of nicks and cuts so I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t experience any of the same unfortunate incidents while using the Lawn Mower. The key is to make sure you take your time and go slow as stated in the instructions. Once you’re all trimmed, cleaning up with the included Crop Cleanser is a nice way to finish things off and get that clean, fresh feeling. Overall, the Manscaped Power Plus Duo pack is a high-quality personal grooming kit and I highly recommend it!

Good clippers, bad nose hair trimmer

Keeping up with grooming is always a pain. I hate shaving but have been unwilling to spend the money on getting laser hair removal. I like to keep the hair on my arms and legs trimmed, so I use a full sized set of clippers. This works great for large areas like the arms and legs but getting those large metal blades anywhere near my nether regions is a scary proposition at best. It is also frightening to take a razor to these areas as well. So when I saw this product I thought my prayers had been answered. With this kit you get a set of mini clippers and a nose hair trimmer. The clippers are actually a little smaller than I would like but their size does allow you to get into tight areas. The device is mostly plastic but has a good amount of weight to it so that it feels sturdy. It also fits well into the hand and is easy to hold on to. The ceramic blade of the clipper aids in the safety of the device as you don't have to worry about getting a metal cutting surface right next to your skin. Unfortunately I found that I had to go over the same area multiple times to make sure that all the hairs I wanted cut got cut. But I guess this is a small price to pay for the safety. The nose hair trimmer is kind of a joke. I found that it didn't really cut hairs very well and pretty much stopped using it after the first few tries. I would give the clippers 4 stars and the nose hair trimmer 2 stars. So I averaged the 2 and gave the set 3 stars.

    great for body hair

It does a great job with removing body hair that is not on the face. Nice set that comes with a couple attachments if you still want some hair length. The nose/ear trimmer works great as well. Had hair above my earlobe where I was always able to pinch my finger and thumb and pull on the hairs. I used the trimmer without even looking in mirror and after could not pinch and pull the hairs. I do have a couple things that I would have liked to see. First being that this did not come with any type of travel bag. It comes with some smaller pieces as well as the 2 trimmers and charging base and cable. Would have loved to see a case/bag for those things to all fit in. Another thing is that the nose/ear trimmer does not fit in the base. It only came with 1 cable and so you either plug that into the base and charge the body hair trimmer, or you unplug it from the base to charge the nose/ear trimmer. Would be a lot nicer if they just made both trimmers the same at the bottom so that you could interchange them out of the base. Or come with 2 bases or cords. Also, the on/off switch on the nose trimmer is a bit tough. Not sure why not just stick to it being like the body trimmer were you just press it. It's a switch that you slide up and down. I find that I have to use both hands to do this. It also comes with a soap to wash with. After I was done using the trimmers, it felt nice using the supplied soap to clean up. It just did not have the best smell to it. But helped out. Overall if you are wanting to shave your body, I recommend getting this set. The only big thing that would make this set better would be to have a razer for the face that would get a nice clean shave.

As someone who's always looking for ways to improve my grooming routine, I was excited to try out the Manscaped Power Plus Duo and it did not disappoint. I started with the Crop Cleanser wash. The scent is absolutely fantastic. It's fresh and invigorating without being too overpowering. Great pre-shave. After scrubbing my undercarriage with the Crop Cleanser, I moved onto the electric trimmer. I love that it's both wet and dry. I've used it in the shower and out, and it performed flawlessly in both situations. The length guides are really helpful, too. They make it easy to get the exact length I want without having to worry about accidentally taking too much off. The shave was gentle and I experienced no nicks or cuts, even on notoriously wrinkly surfaces. When I was done shaving, cleaning it up was a breeze thanks to the tiny included brush. Also, the rubberized matte black finish looks great and helped me keep a good grip on the trimmer while "manicuring my lawn" in the shower. Moving on to the nose trimmer, I was a bit nervous at first as I've had bad experiences with other trimmers in the past. I was worried about nicks and cuts. However, the Manscaped trimmer was incredibly gentle and didn't cause any irritation or discomfort. Popping the blade off and washing it in the sink once I was done shaving was a snap. Finally, let's talk about the charger: I really appreciate that it's sleek and compact. It doesn't take up much space on my bathroom counter, which is a huge plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Manscaped Power Plus Duo to anyone looking to up their grooming game. Whether you're treating yourself or giving it as a gift, it's definitely worth the investment.

Actually a Very Gentle and Close Trim

First I was super excited by the hype and marketing of Manscaped’s products. We’ve all had bad experiences trying to keep things groomed down there and I was eager for a more positive experience. Then as I was reading the fine print and guide manual for the SkinSafe technology I became skeptical as it said “not guaranteed to prevent all nicks and cuts.” Well great now I’m in for it. Not so. I was VERY impressed after my first go with the trimmer. I was extra careful and wary like normal, but it still seemed to be very forgiving. I came away without any knicks or cuts or snags and the guides on blades perfectly captured stragglers instead of just bending them over like other trimmers I have used. I pushed the trimmer against my finger tips and forearm were there wasn’t any hair just to see if it would be sharp, but even though the blade clearly has sharp looking points it did not like at all or cut my skin. The handle also feels great to hold and is very lightweight and ergonomic. All in all it was a very positive experience. I am considering a separate one for my face just because it felt like such a good trimmer. As for the wash, it smells great but it’s kind of annoying to wash twice down there and it dries stuff out if you do. The nose hair piece wasn’t anything special. Compared to some of my other trimmer nose hair attachments, they even look identical. Stick with just the mower.

    EXCELLENT GROOMER

After using the Manscaped tremors, I can confidently say they are wonderful for trimming your nether regions, as well as using the other trimmer for those pesky nose hairs. Charging the trimmer is easy with the charging cradle, and the charging time is relatively fast. The nose trimmer requires the USB-C cable to be plugged in directly to charge. One thing that I noticed was the LED light allowed for greater precision with finding the stray hairs while you are grooming yourself. The packaging of the product is sleek and well put together. One thing that I wished would have been different would be the charging cable, I feel that it could have been , a better quality as the thin rubber coating is easily worn. I took my grooming set on vacation, and it withstood being on the airplane and a cruise ship. One thing to note is you must clean the grooming tools after each use for optimal results. The cleaning brush is included in the pack, which makes things very convenient. I highly recommend this product!

I'm gonna need a little practice with this. LOL. I can tell it's gonna be really nice but I nicked myself on it's first use but I have no doubt whatsoever that it was my own fault. Just really nervous about where I put things with sharp blades. The little built in flashlight is a nice touch when reaching for those hard to reach spots no matter how bright the light is in the shower. Only down side I've noticed is the power button is right where I hold it and is very sensitive so I turned it off inadvertently several times. Just gotta retrain myself on how to hold this particular trimmer. Love the charger for this as it just sits in the cradle. No need to plug anything into the actual trimmer. Seems to hold a charge for quite a while. The nose trimmer works fantastic. As I get older, ear and nose hair is becoming more apparent and this just zipped everything right off in seconds. Very effective. Has a typical charger cord that plugs into the bottom of it. USB-C like pretty much everything else these days. Over time, I'm sure I'll really love this. I just need to be more careful so I don't nick myself.

I have to say that I was pleasantly suprised with this product. I wouldn't normally have much to say about a trimming set, but this one is worth it. Most trimmers are a bit bulky and have plastic casing that is meh, but the feel of these trimmers in my hand is sublime. It has a soft touch and the material doesn't shift around when in use. It feels very well made and gives a confidence that it is precise which is very important for some areas. The charging base is sleek and has a braided cord which is awesome for durability and keeping the area neat and professional. I did think with the soft touch it may not be water resistant, but it works great in the shower and the grip is 100% even in wet conditions. The hairs clean out much easier than all the other trimmers I have used over the years, and I am sure I will look to manscaped for future purchases or to replace some older products. They really engineered an amazing product and I am not regretting buying the set, and will probably get some as gifts this year!

Well, I will have to say that after all the hype and reviews online, I was excited to get this item. However, it did not live up to the needs I have for the most part. Here is way I was let down. 1. unlike all the other packages (online, and such), I did not get a travel bag, t-shirt, underwear, or other items usually packed inside. Not that I needed short or underwear at this moment, but still. 2. This is much smaller than I was expecting. With smooth edges and size, it makes it hard to keep a grip on. I can not even phantom trying to use in the shower with no way to grip it. 3. You have to use the same cable that is used for the body trimmer for the nose trimmer. Would have been easier to let it charge in the same cradle that the trimmer does. 4. It does not cut close enough (at least for me) to avoid the prickly feeling the next day (or even same day for that matter) 5. Battery lasts a good amount, but not for multiple uses (unless you are touching up from last mowing) so I have to recharge almost every time (before use of course) 6. Nose trimmer does not work well for me. I hear the slicing and dicing, but when I inspect the results, well I do better with scissors and a mirror, So no time saved there. 7. Planned obsolescence of blades. they expect you to purchase a fresh set of blades every 3 months. Which if done would cost the same as a new device within 1 year. 8. No blade guard for travel or storage. Yes you can use the length comb to do that, but with the intended use of this item, I would need to attach those. Ok well now let me let you know what I liked about it. 1. Takes pills off my sweaters much better than a sweater shaver 2. Works good to shape mustache or beard with small size being a plus. 3.low noise, so when I approach the dog for quick ear trim, it does not freak her out. I will still use it every once in a while, but it does not even come close to my current trimmer in grip, size, speed, and travelability.

I was happy to get to try this. The naming convention is funny. I had something similar from a different brand, but this feels more polished for the purpose. Unboxing and setup were simple. Just the shavers, guards, and power cables. Besides charging them up there was not any setup left. The Weed Wacker (Nose Trimmer) worked well enough. I just felt like I was swirling it around in my nose to get the hair. There were a few missed. It was just ok. As for the Lawn Mower. I first used the cleanser they included. It was ok but I did not feel anything different than I would with soap. I proceeded to use the guard for a trim, not a full shave. The larger guard did not seem to cut when I took several passes. The shorter guard did but seemed to cut short. I was hoping to just trim and not have to take passes from different angles. In the end, I fought it for the desired cut. I did like the light that it had so I could see and that the charger was USB C. I just did not feel that it lived up to the name. Especially for the price. Also, I think for the money they could have included a travel pouch to put everything in. It was just ok for me.

    Not Worth the Hype

Manscaped products get a lot of hype; marketing for them is everywhere. I really wanted to like their trimmers, especially because I don’t think there are many great options for below the waist grooming, but I’m just simply not impressed. Don’t get me wrong, there are some nice features in this kit. I appreciate that both trimmers are waterproof. The built in light and wireless charging dock for the body/groin trimmer are nice luxuries to have. Runtime/ battery life is adequate. It’s also easy to swap out blades when worn. The nose/ear trimmer works as intended (but does not charge on the wireless dock) and the groin wash smells nice. But, and it’s a big but, the ceramic blades on the body/groin trimmer are advertised as SkinSafe and they’re anything but. I generally trim without a guard and nothing I’ve used in the past has ever delivered more cuts than the lawn mower. My hope was that Manscaped would make trimming downstairs more efficient and enjoyable, but I think this is a “fool me once” kind of experience. For anyone that generally goes for a really close trim, I wouldn’t waste your time or money, and I sure as heck wouldn’t jeopardize your delicate dangly bits like I did…

I bought these because I truly thought they had something nee. Nope i cut myself just as bad as using regular old clippers. The only difference is i paid a lot more money to cut myself. The only thing thats good about them is the wireless feature. They are really sharp so when you nick your testie, Its for real going to bleed non-stop.
