After using a beard trimmer to take care of the hedges for the last few years and getting some unpleasant pinches I grew weary of using it regularly and only used it with attachments. So I figured it was time to try a dedicated trimmer and so far I am pleased with the results. However it's not all roses. The LM4.0 is quiet and I haven't gotten pinched or cut as of yet and I assume it's largely due to the ceramic blade. I like the idea of a light at the head of the trimmer, but I would've preferred it to be a little brighter, but then again, I dont see myself using it in the dark so it's kinda moot. It's pretty much a given that wireless personal groomers nowadays are waterproof. One thing I noticed was that the LM4.0 does have a bit of trouble in the shower with longer hairs but doesn't seem to have a problem with shorter hair. Best to get the long sprouts when dry and shape ups can be handled in the shower. I am able to get the short hairs down fairly short but i still seem to have a bit of stubble and have had to have a pass with a razor the next day or so if I really want it close and smooth. Passes over the base of the trunk were quick and smooth with no nicks or snags. The looser skin needed much more care but was doable. Slow and methodical will get the job done nicely. Word of advice: Do not... under any circumstance do any downunder maintenance with your kids at home... because they will find you and demand to use that bathroom you are currently occuping. Without fail. Charging is easy with a usb c and doesn't force me to use yet another charging cradle cluttering up the sink or bathroom shelf. I just have to make sure that it is completely dry before I try to jam some juice into it which provides roughly and hour of runtime. The led battery indicator will provide a bit of feedback as to the remaining battery life. Fast charging would be preferred as it takes roughly 90mins to charge or at least a quick burst for a quick shave. The lotions that the LM4.0 come with are products I have never used before but they are pleasant. Aftershave is something I generally don't even use on my face, but as we are entering summer, I realized that sometimes irritation can occur and the aftershave balm definitely provides some relief thrrough the hot sticky days. The aftershave, deodorant and revitalizing spray all smell the same and it is pleasant. I've used the revitalizing spray after work and I do admit it is refreshing and keeps thing below the belt feeling and smelling fresh. The LM4.0 Refined Kit comes with 2 blade combs, a charging brick and USB C cable. A travel bag/case would have been a nice inclusion. But I found it a home in the old beard trimmer bag. Overall I am glad I gave the Manscaped LawnMower 4.0 a shot and I am happy with the results and it even sufficient to use on my face and rest of my body without fear of getting cut as long as I am careful.

The enclosed "lads care package" is almost as good as the razor. The "lads" deodorant, or Crop Preserver, does a great job of keeping 'em smelling fine well into the night. Considering I live in Florida with high humidity and higher temps, sweaty junk is a given. Staying fresh is shocking. The aftershave lotion, aka Crop Soother, is cooling and comforting without chilling the lads. The Crop Reviver or toner just makes 'em feel their best. The care package will make your boys say thanks, if they could. As for the Mower itself, it does a surpassingly close shave for a trimmer, not as close as a blade, but does a really good job. My first test was on facial hair, just to see how it could power through the mulch on my chin. It really had no issue plowing through, so I felt safe moving on to the curlies. The curlies had no pulling nor tugging. The head light is a nice touch but pretty useless unless you are much bendier than I am. When doing the facial hail, the headlight was nice to be able to see in the mirror in the shower. There is not the greatest lighting in the shower. I would like to see them add the headlight onto more of their products. There are 2 attachments (that go mm by mm with no half lengths) and a brush. Sadly no sack for the sack trimmer. There is also a USB type C charging cable and wall adapter. You also have the ability to wireless charge it if you have a waterproof Qi charger. Overall me and the boys are really happy with the product, and the humor in the instructions is greatly appreciated. The consistent speed and easy cleaning of the trimmer is something I have come to expect from Manscaped. They are consistent in how they attach the blades and the speed of the blades. The reason I dropped a star, it is somewhat hard to use at specific angles and in certain areas. But I have not 'got myself' yet. I never even felt like I came close to a snag. Sorry no photos, I don't think in use demo would be approved by BB. Happy trimming.

Not impressed with this at all. Blade tends to plow hairs over rather than cut them. I wish I could get my money back from this garbage design. Epic fail for a manscaped product. I guess it could be successful if advertised as a hair bender.

This is my first Manscaped Lawn Mower and I now know I have been missing out and wish I had tried one sooner. It does a great job all while eliminating any chance of getting cut. This small little shaver is conveniently charged using a USB to USB-C cord which means you never have to worry about losing the cord because we all have plenty of those around the house these days and are easily replaced. Once charged, it's ready to go for an hour, which gets me plenty of uses before needing another charge. The first thing you'll notice when using it is that it's very quiet. Just a gentle buzz so that no one else in the house knows you are mowing. Then to help see where you are mowing, you can turn on the LED light that is tucked away up towards the blade. There are two blade guards included that easily attach to get the setting for your preference. This then leads me to my favorite part of using the Lawn Mower. SkinSafe technology! Gone are the days of me worrying about cuts. This not only feels better with peace of mind, but it also allows me to go faster and be more efficient! Also included in this purchase are bottles of Crop Reviver, Crop Preserver, and Crop Soother. The reviver is the ball toner that smells great, the preserver serves as the deodorant, and the soother is the aftershave. If you haven't tried a Manscaped Lawn Mower, I would suggest this package time and again. Now that I have tried it, I can't imagine using anything else for this sensitive job.

It works but it’s kind of tough to use. slightly sucks

Light does not work. The trimmers work to trim but no light.

This is a joke..it cuts you..snags your hairs..can do better with a regular razor...what a waste of moneycaused my groin area to bleed with nicks...cuts..

It is comparable to a $12.99 electric razor from tj maxx. Waste of money

Absolutely not worth the money. They flaunt it likenit is perfect for down under with its fancy ceramic blades but i could have cut myself with a cheaper razor! Not worth the money or the hype.

I just took the Lawn Mower 4.0 Pro Refined Kit on its inaugural run. Overall, I think this is a nice package that gets the job done. Inside the box was the electric razor, 2 guards, a charger, and three skincare products specifically designed for delicate areas. The lawn mower looks stylish and feels premium. It's ergonomically shaped to fit well in the hand and even has a light to help see those hard-to-view areas. In the past, I've been nicked by other electric razors, so I was hesitant to use it without any guards. However, during my first use, I was impressed by how safe the blades were and used it without the guards. No nicks, cuts, or scrapes whatsoever. When it comes to performance, the lawn mower never slowed down, and the battery lasted for the entire length of the manscaping session. However, it didn't achieve a completely bare shave, but it did make finishing with a regular conventional razor extremely easy. As for the skincare products, I've never used anything specifically crafted for "that area." But I'll say they left my skin feeling soothed and comfortable. My only gripe is that I wish there was more information on how they should be used. With that said, I think this is a good product that would make a great gift for a significant other or someone who appreciates a good grooming kit.

I have very sensitive skin, and I can not use a razor..never have been able to since young. However, this is a step in the right direction, and it just keeps getting better. The fact that I can get a nice CLOSE shave for my personal area is a great. Build Quality - I have the 5.0 too, but was concerned about this 4.0 Pro. After trying it, I found that this is just as good, if not better when it comes to battery life. But overall, the product feels good in the hand and it's easy to hold while using. I never feel like I'm gonna drop it, but I do have big hands. Battery life - Like I said before, it last longer than I thought it would on a full charge. I wish charging was super fast, but that is fine. It's not slow by any means, but I just like things like this to charge fast. All you need to do is plug it up, and leave it overnight and you will not notice. If you do watch it charge, I think it took about just under 2 hours. The Cut - They come close, very close. That smooth feeling on my skin is amazing. These things cut really close, which is the main thing I like. No bumps, nothing afterwards. I love these clippers.

This is definitely one of the best trimmers I have ever used. Definitely geared toward men, but women can definitely use it as well. In the box you get the trimmer, a couple of snap on guards, a brush for cleaning, and the USBC cable and charging brick. Very happy to see there is a charging brick in the box, most companies these days just give you a USB cable. Then there are also 3 bottles of lotions and potions to make your shave easier and more comfortable. Some kind of a case to keep everything in would be nice, but its not a deal-breaker. Mine came pretty much fully charged, so I was ready to go out of the box. As I said before it comes with a USB charging cable, but it also has wireless charging! This is something I’ve never seen on a trimmer before. I already have a wireless charger in my bedroom for my phone, so now I can just pop this on there to charge as well. Very convenient! The trimmer is small, but fits perfectly in your hand and makes it easier to get in hard to reach places. There are 2 buttons on it. An on/off switch and then one for the light. Its totally genius to put a light on this, another thing you never see on any other trimmer but it is extremely useful. If you’re a guy and have ever tried to trim “things” you know what I’m talking about! Another amazing thing about this is that it can be used wet or dry. Granted, some areas are harder to work with then they are wet, its nice to have the option to do some things in the shower to cut down on the mess! I found the trimmer to have a lot of power and it cut very cleanly. I never felt any tugging or pinching as it was cutting. The light made it very easy to make sure I was getting everything cut that I wanted to get cut, and not cut anything I didn’t want cut. Cleanup is a breeze; you just pop the head off and run that and the unit under water to rinse off any hair and set it out to dry. There is the included brush to help get out any stubborn hairs lodged in there too. It comes with 3 bottles of stuff. Crop soother, Crop preserver, and crop reviver. The soother is basically like an after shave. I found it worked great to, well, soothe the area after your shave. The preserver is basically a deodorant for your “area.” Now that we are entering the hottest part of summer, this is a welcomed addition to my arsenal. I found it smells great and didn’t cause any kind of irritation. The reviver is also like an after shave. So I guess I’m not exactly sure when to use that over the soother. But I found that also to smell nice and leave things feeling well hydrated and smooth. Overall, I am very happy with this trimmer, it will definitely be my go-to for any body hair trimming that needs to be done from here on out. Excellent product!

Never got it..it’s been a month and it’s been delayed

I've used a plethora of razors (electric and not) to "manscape" in the past and almost always end up nicking something a few times. Not a huge thing, but I end up with a couple of red nicks in the skin. Even just the upper area, going all the way down to the forbidden land is scare stuff and I usually just try my best to hover the shaver so I can just clean things up. This lawn mower 4.0 pro did the job right without any nicks! Everywhere! There's no setup, just plug it in to charge it (USB-C with included adapter) and use it like a shaver. There's a couple guards if you're looking for a certain length and the instruction pamphlet tells you to lay the shaver flat on the metal side (ceramic side up) if you want to get a close shave. All of this works great and best of all, no nicks! I cleaned up the upstairs a bit with the lower guard and then lost the guards for the rest as I cleaned up the sides. I went south-south really apprehensively at first because I didn't believe that I wouldn't have to worry about anything. It didn't take too long before I was just going to town down there without a care in the world. It really does not snag your skin and I left the whole shaving process (it had been a while) without a single nick anywhere to be found. One of the things I noticed when reading through the little introduction panel was that this razor was IPX7 waterproof rated. Which means up to 30 minutes being submerged in up to 1 meter of water. That seemed like a crazy claim because I was staring at a very open hole in the razor where you insert the USB-C charger. But I did my whole shaving process in the shower and had absolutely zero issues. Another small but really nice thing is the light. It doesn't seem that huge but it really was nice. Lighting in a shower is generally not the greatest. You can see but not well. Having a nice light that lit up where I was shaving was really beneficial and probably overlooked by some. The extra products are new to me but I gave them a go. Mostly all just after-care to rub in and keep things feeling and smelling fresh. I didn't notice any razor burn or anything so I think the combination of the razor and the products probably helped keep everything good. I can't say many more nice things about this product. It's just a shaver for a specific part of your body but it works and it works better than anything else I've tried down there. I will probably be looking into other Manscaped products in the future for my grooming needs. If you have the budget and are looking for something similar, definitely give this a look.

I have heard of the Manscaped line for some time, and it seemed to have a good reputation, but this was my first time using any of their products. This kit comes with what I think is all you need. Perhaps even more. You get the unit itself, 2 guards, USB-C cable, and power brick. You also get 3 skincare products designed to keep you fresh and maintained after trimming. Build-wise, everything seems to be put together well, and I think should last over time. It is all fairly easy to clean and maintain. In use, I was actually pretty surprised how well this worked. The trimmer has a good shape and fits well in my hand. Of course, this will be user dependent. Beyond that, the guards are easy to apply and take off, and, again to my surprise, I found the LED light to be quite useful. The cut itself was close, with no snags for me, and while I trust their “SkinSafe” tech, I would still be cognizant of what you are doing and where you are doing it. All in all, though, I was very pleased with their performance. I should note, these are wet/dry trimmers, but I usually go dry for this kind of thing. I think it is easier, more effective, and I would think gives the trimmers a little bit longer life. That said, I don’t doubt they probably work well wet as well. Battery life has been great so far, and I don’t think it will ever be an issue. Charges are also rather quick. As for the skin care products? I think they are good for what they are, but I am rather particular, and I am not sure I will actively be buying more. They may work for you. Ultimately, I like these trimmers. They are designed well, feel like they will last, and they just work. It may take a few times to get your system down, and, again, still be careful, but I think these should work for just about anybody. If I had one small complaint, I wish they came with some kind of case. It seems an odd choice they did not.

The Lawn Mower 4.0 Pro is the PERFECT solution for keeping things tidy below the waist line. The 4.0 Pro Refined Kit comes with everything you need. You get a couple guards, cleaning brush, USB C cable and power adapter. You also get various lotions and creams to help keep the boys fresh and clean. Everything in the kit works great and is of high quality. You’ll probably want to give the included reading material a once over. It gives you a good introduction to the system and shows you how to properly take off the blade head for cleaning. Which is very simple by the way! So how does the trimmer actually perform? Well, you are going to have to develop some trust with the Lawn Mower. I tell ya…all I could think about was getting the sensitive areas stuck in the blade. Fortunately, after some very calculated passes, I realized that the trimmer really does its job well and is super safe. Clean up is a snap and the whole experience was pretty good. If you are looking for a personal trimmer I HIGHLY recommend this Lawn Mower 4.0 kit.

Right out of the box...this trimmer is very different than the ones I'm used to using. The trimmer is solid but lightweight and a lot smaller. The kit comes with the trimmer, two trimmer guards, the charging cord, the cleaning brush, and the 3 grooming products (The Crop Preserver, The Crop Soother, and the Crop Reviver). The trimmer arrived with a pretty full charge, but it's recommended to charge it anyway. The feel of the trimmer is very balanced. It's fits perfectly in your hand and is easy to maneuver. The power of the mower seems to be top notch as I didn't have any issues with trimmer hair. I did have to make a few passed when using wet but no issues otherwise. I did nick myself...it's to be expected and probably user error. It's only happened once when I wasn't really taking my time. Other than that, it was a good overall experience. I really liked the travel lock especially with it not coming with a case. Positives • Strong Motor. • Quiet and sturdy. • the grooming products add a nice touch...nothing something I'm used too but pampering yourself it a good thing. • The light. • The travel lock. Cons • No case. • More guards. Overall – I can’t deduct a star because it doesn’t have a case…that’s not a reflection of the actual product, so I’m sticking with the 5 stars. It’s a great trimmer that is built well.

I've used trimmers/clippers since I was in high school - I'm 52 now. Between haircuts , eyebrow trimming, and manscaping, any clipper-type device gets a real workout in my household! I've tried pretty much every brand out there - mostly because they were less expensive. After trying the Manscaped model, I can say that they are worth every single penny over the competition! Sure, the competitors work and get the job done, but the Manscaped Lawn Mower feels like it has sharper blades. There's absolutely zero hesitation or pulling of hairs or other uncomfortable events during the cutting session. When running without a length guard (for those REALLY close cuts), I've had zero issues with knicks or other events that would cause an uncomfortable bleed - many other brands have caused minor knicks or cuts. The included manly chemicals I have not had an opportunity to try yet, but I can say this - they smell AMAZING. I try to not over-scent myself though as my work frowns upon it due to me being around a lot of persons who potentially have allergies. Definitely a great product though, I look forward to my next trim!

Great product. I had the Manscape 3.0 lawnmower and it tugged on the hair. With the 4.0 its a great close shave with no knicks or cuts. The Toner and deoderant are awesome as well.

Wasnt sure what kind of razor to buy my grandson. So i took a chance and bought this one and im so glad i did , it does everything that you would want it to do. And it was a good price too.
