Helpful Grooming Tool
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This trimmer by Manscaped is a helpful tool for the hair we don't want. As a middle-aged male, I have reached a point in life where this kind of trimmer makes more sense than I might like to admit! The trimmer is small and lightweight. Of course, it is cordless. And it can be used wet or dry, which makes cleaning a breeze, too. The blades are housed in a shielded dome, so to speak. This prevents cuts or other skin irritations. I had hoped it would be able to trim hairs a little more closely along the skin, but it's main focus is cutting through a bushy growth of hair, and it does that quite well. The trimmer is very quiet, which is a huge plus if you're trying to deal with hair growth in or around your ears. Despite the fact it does a very good job trimming nose and ear hair, I find that I need additional tools to "touch up" the fine hairs or the very short hairs this trimmer doesn't quite get. If it did a better job with those hairs, it would be a full 5-star review. As it is, it's a solid 4-star review and a good product that can be very helpful.

Best trimmer in my arsenal
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's growing nose hair. For some reason, somewhere in my 30's I lost all of the hair on the top of my head and it all started growing in my nose. I have to trim every few days or I end up with a few coarse hairs in particular that irritate the inside of my nostrils. Gross, but a fact of life for middle-aged men. As such I've amassed a few tools to do the job. I have rotary trimmers, some straight trimmers, little scissors and I've even tried a product for waxing the inside of my nose. I would not recommend trying it! I was happy to try out this trimmer and and extremely happy with it. I'm about to toss the rest of my tools! The overall feeling is very premium. It's sturdy, has a nice heft to it and I like the grippy coating on it. The power switch is big and easy to use and it even has a nice power light on it. The top unscrews and is easy to clean. The trimming portion has bigger grooves than my other trimmers which seems to help with the coarser hairs. There is no pulling or dragging at all. There's a nice satisfying "click" as each hair is cut down. So far it seems to cut cleanly and leaves just enough above the surface to avoid ingrown hairs and has no issue at all with the thicker hairs. I love that this one is rechargeable and uses a USB-C cable for charging. I like being able to take one charging cable for everything on a trip. There are a lot cheaper trimmers out there, but I would highly recommend this on above all others, and I'm definitely well-versed with all of them!

Posted .Hello Scott,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience your experience may have caused. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we regret we didn't meet your requirements.
The Weed Wacker blade is built with a protective guard to ensure the blades will not be in direct contact with the skin. The protection guard leaves short stubs of hair. This is intended to provide a clean look without the risk of cuts, ingrown hairs, or hair pulling.
Thanks again for taking the time to talk to us as we always appreciate feedback and suggestions.

Great Nose-Hair Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The package for this trimmer was easy to open with physical instructions to easily read through. The trimmer itself was almost fully charged, but I plugged it in as instructed anyway. Turning it on made a pleasant sound of a well-built trimmer. The sliding power switch is easy to grip and turn on and off. I didn't get any of the weird catching noises I had grown accustomed to when trimming. It works well and got to everything with ease. I am not totally sure, but I am very certain that it does not need to be charged very often, as I usually only trim my nose every few weeks. However, if I plug it in every other time I use it I am sure I will never have to concern myself with replacing the batteries as long as it lasts. I have used several nose trimmers over the years. I started off with the cheapest one I could find and have eventually worked my way to this one. Each one I've had in the past has required replaceable batteries that inevitably require replacement at the most inopportune times. I could always tell on first use that it was cheaply made.

Nice trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased thus to replace an old Remington trimmer I have had for years. It was a single AA powered unit and did ok, this is much, much better. Cost wise, it is about triple what I paid for my old unit, but this is rechargeable, as well as water resistant. It says on the box "go ahead and get it wet", but I don't see a need for it. I do feel the weight and build is quite a bit sturdier. It is very quiet, much quieter than a Wahl unit I have that had interchangeable head units, and the remington. This is specific for ear and nose really, but being quiet for ear use is good. This has good feel and grip is good. It is a soft/satin black finish. I won't deduct any points, but a small eyebrow attachment could be njce addition to this unit package. This only came with the nose/ear trimmer attachment, a usb to usbc charger, and mini brick to charge it. Again, no deductions for not having any other attachments. This still trims well for what it does, and presents a bit as a premium product on pricing, but you get what you pay for. I would reccomend this unit.

Well made, works well, a bit pricey
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There’s not much to say about this small trimmer other than it does what it’s designed to do and does it well. My wife did giggle at the name “Weedwhacker”, but the Manscaped folks are into the lawn care euphemisms for naming their products. Regardless of the name, the design and production guys did their jobs well. The Weedwhacker is well-designed, and the build quality is high-end. That said, it is at the high end of the price scale. This is the new 2.0 version which is a bit smaller than the first, and they switched to a NiMH rechargeable battery from the previous Li-ion. Charging is done with a USB C port, and a cable and changing block are included. It charges slowly, but with the low power demand of the trimmer, charging should be infrequent. The trimmer is small, sleek, and IPX7-rated for water resistance. The cutting head is removable for cleaning. The instructions recommend replacing the head every three months. We shall see, but that seems a bit excessively frequent. In use, it was great with no pulling or problems, and that's what you really want. All told, it’s a nice product that I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Great Nose and Ear Trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Manscaped Ear and Nose Trimmer is a no-brainer for keeping those pesky hairs trimmed. With a rechargeable battery, it is easy to ensure the trimmer is ready to go when you need it. The super fast 360 blade trims hair without pulling, nicking, or cutting. And the water resistant design allows you to use the trimmer dry or wet without worry. With a replacement trimmer head, you can guarantee your trimmer blade remains sharp and clean for years. After use, a quick rinse under the faucet ensures the trimmer is ready to use again. To get the best trim possible, be sure to move the trimmer fully around your nose and/or ear to ensure all hairs are trimmed. I found doing a second and sometimes third pass ensures a great trim. It is nice that the package contains a charging cable and charging puck, though I would have liked to see the trimmer use USB C which I the most common charging protocol currently being used. Overall, the Manscaped Ear and Nose Trimmer works great and does what it is designed to do.

I just keep replacing my stuff after I lose it or
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to buy another one since I can’t ever keep track of my things. I like to throw things out when I “clean” and then buy them again. I will buy this product again soon as I will surely throw out the essential piece to make it work when I rip open the package without looking carefully at what’s in it. I’ll also throw out the directions and need to google how it works. I never save the box

Nose hairs don’t stand a chance!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: easy to use; easy to clean Cons: replacing blade can become costly Review: I’ve used a variety of nose hair trimmers over the years, and this product is the best one I’ve owned. The cylinder-shaped head, though not unique to this trimmer, pulls hair into the blade for trimming, which greatly reduces the likelihood of a nick or cut when used as instructed. Compared to others, the cylinder on this product does a better job at actually trimming nose hairs. Since the device is waterproof, cleaning is easy and straightforward since you can literally rinse the blade. The instructions recommend that users replace the blade every three months to maintain hygiene and efficiency. Although I haven’t been using the product that long, I can say from using other products that when the blade dulls you start getting more pulls. The replacement blades’ MSRP is half of the cost of the unit, and so the cost of ownership of the product could become quite expensive as the blades are replaced. Still, if you’re looking for a good nose hair trimmer and don’t mind paying a little extra, this product will get the job done.

Functional personal ear and nose hair trimmer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personal hair trimmers are a dime a dozen, or so I thought. Design: sharp edges that give a masculine vibe, which fits given the overall naming and innuendo of the company’s products. No soft, rounded, corners here, the Manscaped personal ear and nose hair trimmer definitely has a more angular design. The on/off button is outlined in a nice silver, and it’s easy to hold. The only issue I had was the sliding button was a little too hard to move due to the flat recessed design. Performance: I (thankfully?) don’t have significant enough ear hair to where I would require routine trimming, so I can’t speak to that specific aspect. For nose hair trimming though, I noticed I didn’t have any pulled hairs, which is a definite plus. I also noticed that I didn’t have to make as many passes to catch any missed hairs. Being able to use the trimmer in the shower was also a big plus, as you can just rinse off the trimmer and not have to worry about leaving pieces of hair on the sink to be cleaned up. Overall thoughts: does what it’s supposed to well.

Fast head speed, BUT power button needs work
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a few other nose/ear trimmers, this one is the fastest I have used to date. The Manscaped Weed Wacker comes in a very nice well protected box, the instructions are well written (as there is not much to instruct), Nice BIG pictures are very welcome to see. The Manscaped Weed Wacker comes with a USB A power cube (nice to see as lately not much comes with power bricks lately) and a nice short USB A to USB C charge cable, and the Manscaped Weed Wacker has a USB C port on it, very nice to see the world changing to the USB C standard. The Manscaped Weed Wacker fits very well in your hand, I just don't care for the power button... You put your thumb in the middle (well that's the thought Manscaped had) BUT I end up using my fingernail to power on the Manscaped Weed Wacker and off also. To clean the Manscaped Weed Wacker, you twist the head slightly and pull away from the Manscaped Weed Wacker, then rinse under water and alcohol. Very easy to do. Well I gave this a 3 star only due to the power button, that I just don't like BUT the device does work fine with your finger nail.
