If you're going to mount the television above the mantle, this is one of the two mounts that you should look into getting. I would have loved to get the more expensive mount, which would actually make the TV flush with the wall when the TV is not being used, but I actually have a pipe in the wall, from my real fireplace. This mount was the safer option to go with because of that fact.

This is a very solid mount. I would not recommend using it for anything less than a 45 inch TV though as it may not be heavy enough to keep the arm down. My only complaint is that the instructions are not correct for certain things. Ex. it tells you the washers to use but the washers are not big enough.

Amazing mount it is heavy so make sure you have a little help getting it attached to its mounting plate. The adjustment of the spring force in the mount is easy to make. The only caution I would have it that buyers need to know how much of their TV will be above the mount so that the mount can be installed low enough to keep the TV from hitting the ceiling when raised back up

Great for the neck. Good quality product. Easy to install with professional. Tad more expensive that other mantel mounts but I was ok paying for the higher quality as it's a one-time purchase.

This is a fantastic product for my living room! If you have an open floor plan with high ceilings, you get the best of both worlds. Have it up over the fireplace while entertaining or during holidays , or down at eye level while gaming or movie night with the family. Perfect combo for my 70” LG C4

Thus far it s what I needed to adjust my TV do to the minor obstacle that is unavoidable to bypass. Handle is able to pull down and twist to adjust proper height to my need. Bought to swap with previous mount for my 65” Sony OLED TV

Very convenience to use and makes it easy to move TV to different directions in a room. It was bit tricky to install so may need some time to install. We use this for our 75” TV and it holds it pretty well.

Great product. I would recommend using bigger bolts then what comes with it when mounting on sheet rock and wood studs

This TV mount is great for spaces above a fireplace, which then can be lowered to avoid the TV sitting too high on the wall. The assembly process does take some time, however the instructions are detailed and easy to follow. It definitely takes two people to lift the TV and insert the safety bolt during the assembly process. The mount itself is high quality and easily supports my 75”, 75 pound TV. The mount is easy to use, lowers easily, tilts forward and swivels to suit your needs. I highly recommend this product.

While moving in to a new place, someone suggested that we get one of these pull down mounts and it has been a worthy investment. It is especially good if you don’t have a lot of space between your couch and the tv.

I purchased this mount because I needed a better viewing angle for my TV mounted over the fireplace. It's super easy to lower the TV when watching with its hydraulic system. This is exactly what I needed.

Excellent product, will need professional installation. Buts looks good and works great. Used with a 65" Samsung and Samsung soundbar.

Great quality and easy to use. Mantel mount is just what needed above gas fireplace.

Took awhile to put up and can be confusing which way is up but overall, an amazing product. Drops down exactly where we need it to not be too high. We haven't needed to use the heat warning yet as it's super hot in Texas but it will be useful if we do use our fireplace eventually.

Wall mount that pulls down makes watching TV at eye level a much better experience, even though it is mounted over our fireplace.

Not the prettiest wall mount, but possibly the most versatile. Instructions are complex and thorough. Well built and quality design.
