If you are looking at this, just get it. You already know what it does and it does it well. The smoothness to adjust down, the articulating extra features like side to side, and the room for a sound bar makes this a winning mount. The temperature sensitive handles are a plus for fireplaces that make try to kill your TV.

This Mantel Mount does exactly what we needed it to do. Our new 85" TV looks great and the mount allows for great functionality.

EXPENSIVE and WORTH IT. The Mantelmount company sells direct at same price but no BestBuy rewards that way. The MFG site has a number of models and this is toward the highend. BUT ROCK SOLID HEAVY STEEL...We use on Patio with Large (65in) TV and even in the wind nothing moves up or down. For a Cover get a properly sized one for your TV with a LARGE Velcro opening in the back and the metal peices are big.

Brings the tv down lower to eye level easily . Wife is happy

This mount is top notch. I love that it gives you ability to set limits for just about everything. It is very sturdy, which is good but that also comes with it being heavy. All in all, I highly recommend.

The MantelMount Pull Down TV Wall Mount is amazing. It does take a bit of planning and preparation in order to mount it to the wall. Once it is mounted, it sturdier than any TV mount I have ever had. Very impressed with the quality.

This was the perfect solution for lowering the tv just in front of the mantle to give a more enjoyable viewing experience. Has a super smooth motion and can literally raise and lower with two fingers

Game changer for mounting flat screen TVs. This mount has been performing well, as it hold a 75inch TV, weighting in at 81lbs with no problems, and no sound bar. It comes with brackets for soundbar and eliminates odd viewing angles. Difficulty installing it on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say it is a 6, an easy weekend project for two people. I would consider this product again.

Took some time to set it up but once done, it was perfect for 65inch tv.

Three mint itself is great, is does what is stored to, but not all sound bars will for their brackets (sonos playbar being one). Also, it is a rather time consuming and physical task putting it together and mounting the Tv. I still give it 4 stars though.

Getting it installed was expensive service. The functionality is so far so good.

It really makes a HUGE difference to view our Sony 65" Class A8F series 4K UHD TV Smart OLED with HDR at eye level than look up over the mantle at the television. We am very fortunate having bought the TV in 2018 from Best Buy and finally figuring out that it needed a mantle mount in 2024. Purchasing and having Best Buy install both made all the difference. We didn't have to experience any learning curves and they didn't stop until we were completely satisfied.

This is the most stable and soundly built TV mount I have every had. I highly recommend this mount, especially if you have a fireplace or back and neck issues.

TV viewing with pleasure depends on more than a high-end TV brand; viewing level plays a major role. I waited too long for the GEEK Squad to install the MantelMount above my fireplace. It has made watching football and movies enjoyable again, not having to look up.

Overall would recommend. Great end solution to mounting TV over fireplace. If you have basic knowledge of tools and building / putting things together you shouldn’t have any major problems.

Requires two people to install. It best to have pros install it.
