This mount has been performing well, as it hold a 75inch TV, weighting in at 81lbs with no problems, and no sound bar. It comes with brackets for soundbar and eliminates odd viewing angles. Difficulty installing it on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say it is a 6, an easy weekend project for two people. I would consider this product again.

I love that it gives you ability to set limits for just about everything. It is very sturdy, which is good but that also comes with it being heavy. All in all, I highly recommend.

Great end solution to mounting TV over fireplace. If you have basic knowledge of tools and building / putting things together you shouldn’t have any major problems.

We am very fortunate having bought the TV in 2018 from Best Buy and finally figuring out that it needed a mantle mount in 2024. Purchasing and having Best Buy install both made all the difference. We didn't have to experience any learning curves and they didn't stop until we were completely satisfied.

I waited too long for the GEEK Squad to install the MantelMount above my fireplace. It has made watching football and movies enjoyable again, not having to look up.

This mount does does exactly what it is supposed to do - easily lowers the TV over the mantle so that you do not feel like you are in the first row of a movie theatre while watching TV in your living room. Requires no effort to lower and return it to position. Would have rated it 5 stars if it didn't have such a limited tilt angle in the upright position.
