Mantlemount 815 with RB100

We have been looking for a solution to get rid of neck pains from having a tv hung up so high over the fireplace and it got only worse after purchasing a larger 77” Sony from Best Buy. We found MantelMount and I can’t believe we haven’t gotten it sooner. Been a game changer.
We paired the RB100 with a MantelMount 815. It was a bit of a project to cut dry wall and we had to move outlets so that they weren’t exposed under the tv (there is a few inches of required clearance). But couldn’t be happier with the end result. The recessed box hides the bulky mount and lets the tv sit 1.5” away from the wall, concealing all of the hardware. The RB100, like the mount, is solid steel and the rails are very robust. The tv is secure and isn’t going anywhere.
My only complaint is I wish we could have bought the 815 from Best Buy too. It is reassuring working with Best Buy in case there is something wrong with the hardware. But we found the customer service from MantelMount to be top notch and didn’t have any issues.
If you are on the fence, I highly recommend this product!
