Pioneer CS-705, Polk Audio tower, and Cerwin-Vega book shelf speakers. They did not explain how difficult it would be to connect the internet, switch between speakers. You have to go into yur laptop settings. Then everytime you cut off yur laptop, you have to go into yur laptop speaker icon and select MARANTZ speakers....Now! Here's the kicker. You have to run the stereo thru yur TV w/Marantz remote. They don't tell you that. It took 3 weeks for my son to figure everything out/lol. In fairness I have blow out two Yamahas from Crutchfield, set one Denon on fire, gave a second to my wife. At this the Marantz seems able to produce the power needed without clipping or catching on fire.

Currently bi-amped to Martin Logan Motion 60’s, motion center and 2 in ceiling 6.5” rears. UI looks great, illuminated remote is nice touch and easy to use.

Has plenty of power to drive my Sonance ceiling speakers with clarity whether watching a movie or music.

We Love Tv Setup!

We are running all 8k fiber optic HDMI’s. One 50ft plus HDMI cord to the receiver to the TV and the sources feed right into to receiver. We love it It works great!! Picture and sound are amazing!!! Stew and the rest of Geek Squad did amazing job with install and answered all of our questions!

Heos is terrible

It doesn’t work properly at all. There are constantly connectivity issues despite internet being fiber. Love the Marantz. Hate Heos.

Superb receiver

It delivers a great clear and balanced audio. I have a pair of KEF Q950 speakers and a SVS subwoofer connected to it and it’s just awesome. I also have a U-turn Orbit theory turntable and a Yamaha CD-S303 CD player, and I couldn’t be happier of the excellent sound it delivers. Another aspect that I love about this receiver is the simplicist look it has. I’m very pleased with this acquisition.

Didn't think it would stand up to the Marantz of old. However this model did indeed exceed my expection. It not only had the great sound that's expected from Marantz but in addition had all the bells and whistles of today's technology, self calibration, Heos, 4k and more. I am indeed enjoying

XBox Series X fully compatible on my LG CX OLED. Im not upgrading from 7.1 so this fulfills my need. Decodes Atmos and handles Dolby Vision also. Enough for my Bowers and Wilkins CM8's and surround.
