Posted .Hello. Thank you for your feedback. It may take a little while to get used to using the remote control to operate your Cinema 60, but it may not take long. We chose to allow the remote control to be the focal point for overall operation because it allows the user to have full control from where they sit (often not within reach of the AVR front panel), and to prevent the front panel of the Cinema 60 from looking too cluttered.
There is a 'Marantz AVR App' available (from your app store of choice) should you wish to use the features this provides for your Cinema 60 from your mobile device.

As of Nov 27, my receiver was lost in shipment. It has been two weeks since it was delivered to a place in a town several miles away. I filed a claim with BestBuy . Never having had this before, I presumed there would be no problem getting another. This has not been the case. I have spent many hours online with customer service. No help what so ever except promises. On Saturday, BestBuy closed my case saying they would neither repay or replace the receiver since it showed delivered (even to the wrong place). UPS wants to settle the claim but Bestbuy refuses to reopen the case and fill out the necessary forms. I just want to make people aware that this thing happens. BestBuy also told me that their responsibility ends when they ship the product. If you order something, have it shipped to a BestBuy store. I am out $1457 because I had it shipped. There is no one who will talk to me at BestBuy to clear this up.

Both have broken. Don't buy these, they are remarkably unreliable. Honestly I wasn't ever blown away by the sound either.

HOOKED IT UP, PLAYED GREAT FOR 2 HOURS. IT QUIT, FLASHES ORANGE LIGHT, WON'T RESET. DID EVERYTHING THE MANUAL SAYS...IT'S GOING BACK TODAY. BACK TO MY FISHER STUDIO. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO BEAUTIFUL.
