I called Marantz after much frustration and it was something not listed on the instructions. They walked me thru it and works great. Sounds great with my speakers. Zone 2 works grat as well.

Fantastic sound at a decent price. I am very picky when it comes to music and so far Marantz is the best bang for the buck. I did a side by side comparison to the Mcintosh and the Marantz sounded a little warmer and a lot less expensive. Buy this, you will not be dissapointed.

I may need some mentoring in order to take advantage of all that it offers. It looks great-very sleek. So far I deem it money well-spent.

Works great for my 5.1 setup but have the ability to expand in the future which is great. The reason for purchase was the slim form factor and to update a 20 year old receiver. Am very happy with this purchase.

Have it hooked up with the app and universal remote. Retains all the settings for cable, DVR, streaming and music. Puts out plenty of power for my 5.1 system with all speakers except the sub mounted in the wall and ceiling.

I thought the sound quality from my friends receiver and turntable was amazing and even more so when full digital CD players started selling. Unfortunately I couldn't afford it until till now. ( Yes, nearly 40 years ) But I have been noticing some problems with my unit. 1) The audio changes depending on what I am listening to like switching from my PlayStation to the cable box. 2) I have been experiencing an occasional popping sound while switching. 3) My Roku keeps refreshing and changing the picture resolution while my AppleTV doesn't do that even though I changed to a new certified UHD cable. I love the sound from this receiver. Even my Wife comments she thinks it sounds better that the previous receiver we had to replace. The display is large enough to be seen and you can customize each input label. I wish that the remote had backlighting though for night use. I can use this with my Apple iTunes from my Windows 11 pc which I haven't been able to do from my iMac in years. It also is compatible with our Android and iOS devices for playing videos or music. I have a Polk subwoofer that I can actually hear better now and watching movies with my speakers really gives us that cinema sound. My old receiver was DTS but holy cow what a difference this Marantz makes!

Using it to power my Klipsch Quintet 5.1 setup. Previous AV receiver was a 1000w Samsung which was replaced due to lack of 4k pass-through. The improved sound quality was immediately noticeable. Setup was a breeze, and it seamlessly integrates with my other AV components. My only regret was that I didn't upgrade sooner! A++
