    This is my favorite game of all time so far!!! I have Mario kart double dash on GameCube and this one has everything my and more that that has!!! I love this game so much! The graphics and quality are unmatched!!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

    Having played the original MK8 on the Wii U (+ all the DLC), I'm happy to have bought the Deluxe version for the Switch, which comes with an improved battle system, new items (like the much missed Boo), and additional characters. All the racetracks and speeds are available from the start, so it's easy to jump right back in. Only complaint is that the highlight reel seems to have changed a bit for the worse, as it zooms in too much on the racer (especially when crossing the finish line), thus removing some of the desired context.

    kinda mad at myself for paying $40 for a 9 yr old game, but still, the game itself is super fun! got it to play online with my friends and now we love to hate each other while we're all racing

    I played Mario Kart at the local Dave & Buster's and it reminded me of the hours of entertainment I used to have as a child. I just had to go out and buy the home version for my Switch.

    A classic Nintendo game that you can’t really go wrong with. I’m not that into racing games and had only played Mario Kart on friends’ consoles so I was worried that I wasn’t going to play it much but I was wrong. I love to plop down on the couch with my switch lite and do a Grand Prix or two when I want to play a game but am not sure which one. My singular complaint is that I wish there were more characters, but I’ve found ones that I like so it’s not that big of a deal (there’s quite a few but most are unfamiliar to me because I haven’t played a wide variety of Nintendo games except for Pokémon and Zelda). There is a good selection of old and new tracks right out of the gate, and you unlock gear customizations by collections coins. There are lots of cool details on the tracks and great music. There’s also a battle mode where you fight with the power ups in different themed arenas. My favorite is the time tests mode because you can just go around the track solo and try to beat your record. There are of course multiplayer options and amino stuff, but I haven’t tried those yet.

    Totally addictive! Even moreso with the deluxe steering wheel! Drive until your eyes get tired. The racing tracks are innovative and interactive. I thoroughly enjoy it!
