Very cool and unique idea! The game is free, you setup a course and follow around with your switch and it shows you an augmented reality. And when you get a mushroom, the car actually goes faster in real life! Doesn't feel cheap but pricy. Also you would need to have another switch and another racer if you want multiplayer. The whole point is to play together with others so was pretty bummed about having to Shell out for another racer so two kids can play while the other two wait for them to finish and alternate that way

I knew I’d love it, but my kids are absolutely obsessed with it. The cats? Well, they don’t care for it too much.

Very fun too use. Especially when you have a good amount of space to make your own race track.

Very fun. Easy to setup. The track markers are carboard so I am not sure how long they will last, but you can order replacements or freely download and print your own which is nice. More fun with a friend.

Mariokart Live Home Circuit is a lot of fun. It’s close to Mariokart 8 Deluxe, but you can set up your own race courses. Works best on hard wood floors or tile, but can handle short shag carpets ok. It is very immersive and great for kids. Racing with a friend with more than 1 car (sold separately) is definitely more fun and will make for greater replay ability.

This is so much fun and such a unique gift! It does seem a little expensive for what it does.

The karts are great to use as intended or just as RC drones to roam around your house. My cats were very curious about the kart and would follow it around. The karts are controlled by the Switch through Bluetooth and you are able to view the camera that is on the kart. There is a game that will need to be downloaded from the Nintendo eshop. It is best to buy the Mario set as well so two players can race together.. Cons: The wheels can be impacted by hair (cat, dog, human) getting caught and wound around the inside of the wheel, jamming it. A seem ripper or tweezers can assist. You will need to set up the gate and speed sensors, and these can take up some room The Bluetooth radio on the kart is not very strong so you will need to either be in a large room for the track or follow the kart to another room.

Good product lot of fun more fun to come for the family

My son loved this, he plays it all the time and he gets so much enjoyment out of it. A cheap way to make your kids happy and it is a great investment!

I bought a few Mario carts and Luigi cards for me and my kids for Christmas this year. It’s really nice to be able to have different characters so you know which cart is yours. I only wish they had other characters that you could also buy. Just be warned if you buy multiple sets you need a Switch for every set you have.

Very cool toy, just make sure you have the space for it. Although it is enjoy for a while, it is probably best suited for a child, and ultimately the only way to enjoy multiplayer is by buying two of these, so it does become an expensive proposition.

My 10 y/o son loves this set and has spent hrs building all different types of tracks which if fun to do for us together. Another good thing is the kart doesn’t go that fast in the house but feels fast when playing the game so damaging walls has not been an issue. The only downside for me is we can’t play together since I bought both Mario and Luigi because each kart requires a Nintendo switch.

Its all around fun from setting up your own track to racing around or just going off the path and driving it around the house or wherever you are at!
