Fun for a bit but overall costs a lot. They do not go fast at all and require a lot of space to work.

Nintendo has done it again. They consistently have something up their sleeve to stray away from traditional video games, offering a fresh take on what gaming can accomplish.
This game encourages creativity and offers a new perspective on your household. I can’t even begin to explain how funny it is driving the kart around your living room and having a 2 year old chasing you around.
The racing aspect is really fun and well done, not quite on par with the traditional Mario Kart games but still great. However, I find myself spending most of my time just driving the kart around (without racing) and having a blast.
This may be one that will end up on the shelf in the near future and become a paper weight, but I still give it 5 stars because of how much fun I’ve had with it so far. If you’re an adult, you’ll feel like a kid again and likewise, kids will love it.

The augment reality within itself is pretty impressive. It's pretty cool to see the Koopalings racing Luigi in your home. The gamer can become so immersive that he or she can easily forget there's an actual RCA toy card in real life. I appreciate the extra touches put on, like when Luigi looks backward while backing up. While the toy might seem like a gimmick, it still looks and feels like a Mario Kart game with 8 grand prix cups, although the fact that each grand prix only has 3 races of 5 laps a piece. While changing the course for each race is up to the player, the fact that each race has its own filter allows the player to not have to set up a new course every time, yet it still feels like a new race. Overall, the novelty is the RCA toy car being controlled by a Nintendo Switch, and the developers knew that was the novelty. They even included a free play, which simply allows the play to control the RCA toy car without needing a race. While like any Mario Kart game, which is done once you gold cup all the grand prix cups, kids will enjoy the RCA toy car

I have the Mario version and now Luigi.
Besides the price point of having two its well worth the money. To play with someone else instead of just the AI characters. It runs just as well as mario. Has different skins for Luigi and different AR car skins as well that are different from Mario. Overall good Kart.

not exactly like Mario kart eight deluxe but I'll take this as a spin off from Mario kart I love the fact that you can actually control your Mario kart RC weather in tendo switch the only problem is the range between the consul in the car not very good I think they can improve that in the future

I understand this game requires some creativity and work but, if you have kids 4-5+ this is a MUST HAVE!!!!! My kids get a super kick out of it's 5 of 5 as a innovative learning tool if you super Mom or Dad the experience with obstacles.
If you have more than 1 kid, you will need two witch will need 2 switches. This could be a huge investment if you don't have the pre reqs but end game is mos def worth it. If I didn't already have 2 switches I am not sure i would invest as that money could go further in equally fun learning toys.
In regards to gamers, it's fun for about 15m and the first few runs before you want to shelf it. It's all about the kids on this one as they BBBEEEGGGGG!!!! me to place throughout the day which makes chores and meals 10x easier ;~}

My students love this! I was looking for some AR technology for my middle school STEM class, and this was perfect! Not only were they learning about the technology, but having fun at the same time! Well done Nintendo! I highly recommend getting 2 so that you can race each other.

I Love Love Love Nintendo, I had to pick up the Luigi version even thou I have the Mario. Great and fun just creating courses thru your house. Love the Newness, the only thing you do end up putting it away and only take it out when company is around waiting for more updates.

Woah!!! Nintendo's best Gimick! A full mario kart experience! I love being able to get trophies in all the different cups and unlocking new features or looks! I still play double dash with my cousin (he's autistic) and the look on his face was the best! Fun to play, and fun to watch!

This is so fun. I love being able to make a course go however you want. It keeps the kids entertained for a long time. I leave my kids funny signs on the gates when they aren’t looking. I only wish there were a few more options for drivers. They need a couple bad guys.

A good cross between physical toys and digital game play. Everything works really well, and it's fun to see your living room come to life as a track in one of my all-time favorite games, Mario Kart. Just make sure you have lots of space and hard floors of some type to use it.

My Grandson loves this game. But we also bought him the Mario version in the red car so that we could race around the house together. Unfortunately we found out that you have to have another Switch to control the second car. So you can only use one car or the other with your switch. Very disappointed. Who’s gonna buy another 300.00 Switch?? So we spent an extra 100.00 just to use a green car with Luigi instead of a red one with Mario. Not cool.

Mario Kart Live is awesome! I love how they integrated the game w/ the real world. Nintendo is pushing the interactive technology bar with this, but be warned, you will need a lot of floor space cleared out to really experience the full potential of this game. I have not unlocked 200cc yet, but at times 100cc can be quite fast for the remote control kart. Definitely worth the purchase if you love Mario Kart and have enough clear floor space.

We had the Mario already and the kids wanted to race against each other so we purchased the Luigi too. It is a Christmas gift so we didn't open yet. Mario Kart has everybody playing. it is really cool to see your house on the screen and even a dog or two.
