Absolutely love this game. Bought it after playing it with a friend.

This is a great party game for up to four players and includes a single player story that guides you through the individual games.
I recommend reading the instructions for every mini-game and to also repeat the games as they give you more helpful tips each time you finish a round.
It's been one of my go-to party games for the Switch!

Love this game! My four year old plays it with my twin 14 year olds. It reminds me of the WII U when they are actually up and moving and sweating instead of sitting and "rotting their brains" with just a game lol. I love the active part of it and my youngest son cannot get enough of the characters. Highly recommended.

This game is quite fun and in the footsteps of its previous versions. However if there was 1 improvement i would recommend that they update with a Olympics mode as all the events are single events and have to always select the next event, would be nice to have a mode that has events all lined up for continuous uninterrupted play.

Outstanding I personally love it there are so many things you can do! There is over 10 games and some are a little bit challenging and cool but that makes it so much fun! Also I recommend playing with 2 or more players in the game to make it more fun thats why its not just you and the computer. Also I recommend playing with buttons just because if u don't have as much space to move around in.

I love this game! My kids enjoy it and also my adult friends. It’s a great exercise. The boxing game allows you to actually use both hands n truly fight for the win. There are so many different sport games. I purchased another for a friend.
Pros:
Multiple games, play with controller or interactive like the wii, fun for all ages
Cons: None! Worth the price u

If you've ever played a Mario and Sonic game before, you know what you are in for. However, there are some really cool additions to this game that brings it to the top of my list.
To start out, I did purchase this game at $34.99 on a sale price. I think $60 is a lot BUT if you can get it cheaper, I recommend that.
There is also a demo in stores that you can go try and see if you like it.
This game has a fun single player campaign where you not only play through the story but also get to learn a lot of facts about Japan and the Olympics.
There is also a new mode where you go back in time and play as the classic sprites of the SNES/NES/GENESIS era, which as a lifelong gamer who grew up in that era, was a real treat!
The games themselves are hit and miss and you'll quickly find ones you enjoy playing and others you'll only play when the game makes you.
We also played this with friends and that's where the real fun is at. Getting together and playing Mario and Sonic with a group is just as fun as Mario Party where you'll be either using the motion controls or button controls to best each other in various Olympic events.
All in all, it's a fun game that would be best at a cheaper price. Again, if you are on the fence, go to your local store with a kiosk and give it a try! :)

I really thought this would be a bad game just because when I was a kid these sort of games with a gimmick were usually just bad. Have to say though I really enjoy playing this with the family. The events are pretty good obviously some better than others. The opening movie is really cool too. My daughter loves Sonic and Mario so she really likes the game too.

The Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is generally a series I enjoy and it's great to finally have an installment on the Switch. Overall the game is very enjoyable, especially the amusing story mode and for local or online multiplayer (this is the kind of game that really caters to local multiplayer fun), but it's lacking when it comes to modes and options.
