I have played it with my 8 year old and my 11 year old. Just wish there was an option for a full Olympic experience in the game vs just playing individual events.

It allows you time revisit your youth with the simple version of Mario and then in the Olympics version, trying to do the routines are a bit of a challenge, but still worth buying.

They could have left off the 8-Bit characters, but I think it was intended for old school gamers. Overall it is fun to play.

I didn't see bowling and I'm sure there are more events that were missed. It's a fun game to get to play at parties with family or friends. The dialogue in Story Mode can drag a bit.

Besides getting to be active in your living room in a family-friendly way, you also get a product with a misprint now that the Olympics have been delayed to 2021.
