I love this game! My kids enjoy it and also my adult friends. It’s a great exercise. The boxing game allows you to actually use both hands n truly fight for the win. It's an incredible and really fun game to play with family and friends, especially if you like the Olympic games or sports in general.

If you've ever played a Mario and Sonic game before, you know what you are in for. However, there are some really cool additions to this game that brings it to the top of my list. To start out, I did purchase this game at $34.99 on a sale price. I think $60 is a lot BUT if you can get it cheaper, I recommend that. There is also a demo in stores that you can go try and see if you like it. This game has a fun single player campaign where you not only play through the story but also get to learn a lot of facts about Japan and the Olympics. There is also a new mode where you go back in time and play as the classic sprites of the SNES/NES/GENESIS era, which as a lifelong gamer who grew up in that era, was a real treat! The games themselves are hit and miss and you'll quickly find ones you enjoy playing and others you'll only play when the game makes you. We also played this with friends and that's where the real fun is at. Getting together and playing Mario and Sonic with a group is just as fun as Mario Party where you'll be either using the motion controls or button controls to best each other in various Olympic events. All in all, it's a fun game that would be best at a cheaper price. Again, if you are on the fence, go to your local store with a kiosk and give it a try! :)

I really thought this would be a bad game just because when I was a kid these sort of games with a gimmick were usually just bad. Have to say though I really enjoy playing this with the family. The events are pretty good obviously some better than others. The opening movie is really cool too. My daughter loves Sonic and Mario so she really likes the game too.

I’ve enjoyed playing this game but it’s not my favorite. Some of the controls are a little wacky but overall it’s a good game for the Mario fan.

Grandson's loves his Game, would highly recommend this game to any kid that likes adventure toys, That's all he wants to do now he has friends over to play the game with him

Fun for our 9 yo son although some parts were relatively easy but there were some parts he finds difficult to get through.

A fun family video game for the switch. It has all the characters from both Mario and sonic with Olympic events to play.

Give Nintendo credit for continuing to creatively milk the Mario concept. When I was a boy, I thought all he could do was jump barrels and climb ladders. Boy was I wrong.....he's so good that he managed to compete in Olympic games that didn't even happen after being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oh well....the kids like it, so there's that.

The game itself is okay. Came in wonderfully perfect condition, everything worked well! The game is fun with others around, locally & online. But if you play solo, it gets stale quickly. Good for party nights, but every day use will get boring quickly.
