Story mode too slow, controls are wonky

The story mode is very slow to progress and the dialog takes forever to go through. There isn't much substance and you see the characters talk about GOLD MEDALS a lot. Unfortunately the addition of an EXCITEMENT BATTERY was not enough to excite me. Some mini games have horrible controls and are impossible to beat if you are playing with joy-cons on the tv. The game knows this so they give you a chance to cop out after attempting each game at least 3 times to continue the story mode. There is also some heavy use of the left analog stick at one point so you might as well say goodbye to your calibration and say hello to drift. Not worth more than $20 in my opinion.

Fun way to experience Olympic sports

They love the skateboarding event and oddly love Rugby. We bought the game to prepare for 2020 Summer Olympics, which obviously did not happen this summer. Hopefully, 2021 Olympics will still happen.
