I held off on buying this game for a while, but picked it up on sale for Mario Day. It's definitely worth the play-through but after finishing the main story I didn't find much value in playing it further. Playing with my wife is fun for a little while but as far as multiplayer games go I prefer Mario Kart. Still, the mechanics are solid and follow the easy to learn, difficult to master mantra well and I definitely had some challenging rounds with the AI (but not so challenging it left me frustrated). I think this is a good one to pick up, but not one to hold onto longterm.

Mario Tennis is true to form, serving up frenetic single and multiplayer action. The online play is great, especially the tournament and doubles modes. Even the adventure mode is fun, even if it's a bit of a stretch to save the world by playing tennis. This game is an excellent choice whether one wants a family-friendly experience for little ones or a solid party game with fellow adults. My only quibble: Don't use the motion controls. This isn't a Wii game, and it shouldn't try to be. It's "Mario Tennis Aces" for Nintendo Switch, and it's yet another brilliant gem in the console's library.

Fun game! My two boys love this game. We got the tennis paddles as well for the Nintendo switch.

This is a fun time that includes our favorite characters. Would wish there was an option to skip through every story to just get to the game as haven't played adventure option.

Nintendo did a great job moving this franchise forward a bit, but the single player campaign is kind of weird. Playing by yourself gets a little repetitive, but a blast to play with friends.

I liked the online demo, so I purchased the full game. Fun game. Single player stinks. Online is sweet, except that people seem to do the same moves. Dont know how long it will be playable.

Great game to play with family and friends. Story mode isn’t great, but it isn’t bad. Multiplayer whether it be online on split screen is really fun.

If you like Tennis and you like Mario then this game is for you !!! You will not be disappointed

It's Mario Tennis with some extra new abilities. The controls definitely take a bit to get used to, and while the game does have a tutorial, I think it could be a lot more clear. Additionally, many of the moves have multiple ways of triggering them, so that adds to a bit of the confusion for me. Overall though, it is a bunch of fun to play with friends and family.

Much better than the Wii U Mario Tennis game. Multiplayer versus is fun. Single player mode is lacking, but a good effort. Needs more content.

Game is great. I love Mario and sports games, but it’s just too easy of a game. Best graphics! If you love Mario crazy games and graphics pick it up. You’ll love it.

Overall a pretty good game with adventure mode (1P) and multiplayer modes. I also like how you can do local 2P. Some of the bosses can be tough, but strategy plays into it.

We wanted a fun game we could play as a family and what better way to spend it than playing Tennis with Mario and friends. So much Fun!!!!

I first played Mario Tennis on the GBC over 17 years ago, and have been hooked since. It's not your standard tennis game, since you never get to play a full match, or anything close to it. But the brief matches keep you engaged and the various characteristics of the characters make it a challenge. There is no 1 way to play the game, you can switch it up as you like, which makes this fantastic for anyone. The story mode is fun, and not as tedious as I thought it would be, but playing with friends is where it shines.

I normally just buy any Mario franchise game because I am a Nintendo fan. But because I have been playing Zelda and trying to finish it, I hold myself off from buying new games. When I was at BestBuy looking for Joy-con charger, I saw kids playing this and tried it myself. Man, I fell in love and told myself that I will wait for it to go on sale but the guy told me that they actually sell fast and never go on sale. Grabbed myself one and had a break on Zelda while preparing for Ganon fight.

you will enjoy Mario Tennis Aces! Its easy to pick up and play and the Nintendo characters are a perfect fit for this game!

Awesome game for the family and kids for all ages. Easy for the little ones and challenging for the adults.

Game plays smoothly and most importantly, fun. However, there is no option to play a real set of tennis at this time. Hopefully they will add a patch for this.

Single player is short and easy.....online is why you buy this game. I like it....wish I could hit the shots where I want, but that will come as I get better.
