    The core tennis gameplay has been improved, adding lots of strategy with zone shots, special shots, a special meter, and more- making this entry to the Mario Tennis series feel almost like a fighting game! At the moment the content is rather limited, with a short adventure mode and online tournaments. It's kind of annoying that when playing a friend online, the VS options are extremely limited. (You can only play tiebreaker matches, and can't even change the # of rounds. Hopefully they will fix this in the future.

    Single player campaign is short (maybe like 3 hours) The real meat from the game comes from multiplayer with friends locally or online

    My last Mario tennis I played was from the N64. Playing Mario Tennis Ace, its a welcome change. You can now win by breaking the opponent's bracket. So in a sense, this game is not just a sport, but feel almost like a fighting game. You have to not only read the opponent next move, but keep in mind of your special meter in order to counter their special move. All in all, the fun of Mario Tennis is there just like the previous title.
