    This game is great for beginners to Mario Tennis and for those with lower expectations. It’s quite a bit better than the last few sports games have been, but still don’t shine a candle to the old stuff. Competitive online is mostly charging up, trick shots, and slowing down/shooting off your special continuously. For someone with skill the characters are horribly unbalanced, with Boswer Jr reigning over the others by quite a bit. However for the casual gamer, it’s pretty fun, and a light title.

    Game was junk at launch, but has now been patched to include more options, etc. worth if can find on sale as I did last week.

    Love it. Haven't had this much fun with a console tennis game since Mario Tennis on the N64. Even more fun with friends.
