This game has been a blast for me. It looks and sounds great. It actually feels really satisfying to play too. The feel of hitting the ball and scoring points is very well done. Story is kind of shallow and more like a very extended training mode to get you better at the game. I like this though as it makes it a really fun way to learn the mechanics deeply and then have fun with multiplayer!

This game does what Nintendo do really well, that is to take a genre of game and turn it in to something uniquely Nintendo. All their top characters are there, all the things that make you smile and laugh, but at its heart it is still a game of skill and tactics. A really entertaining game that everyone can play.

Had a lot of fun playing this game with my kids. Definitely doesn’t get old.

A great addition to the Mario Sports Spin-offs. Overall way better quality than Mario Tennis Ultra Smash for Wii U in terms of tennis gameplay and overall content. The story mode is a bit lacking for some people's liking, but could still be a fun experience. With lots of things to like about this game (such as online tournaments, the aforementioned story mode and the great tennis gameplay), this is a great game for seasoned veterans as well as newcomers to the series.
