    The only thing that isn’t so great about this game (in my opinion) is that it is possible to play it in a very passive mode using the controller between your hands. I really loved the old Wii tennis game which you played with the “wand” controllers and always motivated you to move and exercise.

    Would definitely recommend this to my friends. Never owned any type of tennis game but this game was easy to pick up but hard to get great at. Graphics and controls work fluidly, great couch game or online play with a friend. I never played other mario tennis games and can't compare but I personally really enjoyed this game

    This game plays great and looks great. The online tournaments are fantastic but the single player is pretty much one long tutorial on how to play. This game has all the potential to be even better but just doesn’t fully execute. It’s hard to justify it as a $60 title simply because there isn’t a lot there - especially if you have no or dodgy internet connection. Still a lot of fun though.
