Great deal for a great afternoon with the family. Glad Nintendo still produces games the whole family can enjoy together

This is fun, especially when playing 2 player with your kids. I don't have the racquet accessories but the joycon works as a motion controller and swings the racquet for your character. Not enough exercise to get your heart rate up, but at least it got me off the couch.

Amazing game, I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Whether you're into tennis or not, I am sure you will enjoy this game, especially if playing with family or friends. It certainly is a must have for the Nintendo switch.

So I won't bore you with the basics. Mario Tennis Aces plays like Mario Tennis. It's well designed and controls how you expect a Nintendo game to control. Perfectly. If you like crazy tennis games with friends, there you go.
Now for the meat of the review, the story mode. An upgrade from Power Smash, this game includes an adventure mode. Complete with world map and silly story. It's enough to get you started into this world. You travel through the map challening opponents to games of tennis and playing bonus stages. Unlockables include stronger rackets and your able to level up. Sadly these two features are not to fleshed out, as each racket is just better then the previous, not allowing the need to simply change rackets to fit different playstyles. No reason to go back and use older ones. And level ups increase your movement speed, power of hit, etc. But all these stat increases are auto and don't allow for customization. The first playthrough is fun and all, but I don't see myself wanting to replay through it a second time soon. The meat of the game is definitly in it's multiplayer mode, which is still tons of fun.

I can not believe how much fun I’ve been having playing Mario tennis! Very simple easy to master type of game and lots of fun playing online tournaments. Connection seemed to be very good almost every match I have played so far. Graphics are pretty on par with Mario odyssey if you have played that so it’s a very nice looking game.

A very good tennis game. A little too busy for older gamers as it has many shot combos that require alot of different button smashing. Over all a very appealing visual game. All the mario star are in the game. I bought it on sale for 38 bucks and that is a great price. Also has motion response with the joycon controller

Very fun game overall, especially the Tournament mode. I liked very much the gameplay with the controller using button.
I am disappointed with the mode 1v1 when using only one controller each and the montion sensor. I would have loved a gameplay similar to the old Tennis game on the Wii from 12 years ago.
As as many players, I would prefer the points to be counted following real tennis rules

We have a child who has nicely asked for this game for 3 Christmases now. BB ran a sale that made it worth getting so we grabbed it for underneath the tree this year. Since getting this game this is the only Switch game our child has played since Christmas!

This game is a blast to play with friends. The single player is fun as well, but nowhere near as fun overall. There is something about beating up on your friends and family that makes this game that much more enjoyable. The single player 'campaign' is a bit easy and feels short, so I think they could have done more. But, if you enjoyed Mario Tennis in the past, you are gonna love this.

Mario Tennis Aces is such a great family game! We play daily, especially with Covid-19, it has entertained us for long periods of time. Us parents enjoy the game just as much as our little boys ages 7 and under! We play in teams and also do adventures as single players. Love it!

Basically, I own a Switch for a few games, all meant to be played with multiple friends after a night out. They include Mario Party, Mario Kart and now Mario Tennis. You will have fun if you play with multiple friends. The only downside is paying Nintendo for all their expensive controllers! Those jerks... lol

I guess I was expecting with more advanced technology to be able to play similar to how Wii Tennis worked, but unfortunately I have not figured out if it's not possible or I have not found the right mode. It brings tears from the 4 year old who doesn't like to lose, and seems fun otherwise to all other family members.
