The video quality of Married With Children in this DVD series is very poor. There are several reasons for this. First, Married With Children had 11 seasons. They pack all of these episodes into only 21 DVDs. As a result, the Bitrate of each episode is lower than it should be. This results in a very low video quality where frames are missing and the resolution looks low. Second, these DVDs are using an "interlaced" signal rather than a "progressive" signal. Again, this makes it so the frames are skipping all the time. Members of my family asked, "Why does it look like they are skipping all the time?" The reason why is the combination of an interlaced signal and low bitrate. This series doesn't cost very much, but it is a testament to the concept of "You pay for what you get." They should have increased the number of DVDs in order to increase the bitrate of each episode and make it so each episode was progressive rather than interlaced. Even if your DVD player and TV use 3:2 Pulldown technology, it doesn't eliminate the problem. It just minimizes the damage. I have heard there is a different version of this series that is on more discs with a higher bitrate, and I have seen it online. But, it is very difficult to find to purchase anywhere.

A friend of mine watched this show when it first came out on FOX network. One day he asked me if I had seen "Married With Children" yet? I said no and asked him why he liked it and he told me because "It makes me laugh" So I checked it out the next time it came on and I was hooked. Very funny show with great actors. It will make you laugh. Good times and Good memories...Enjoy and take some time to laugh it is good medicine in this day and age.

I had always wanted to get the series, but until recently, I had only seen the individual seasons. I grew up with this show, and still return to it when I see it has syndication. Now that I have the full series, I can return to it when I want, watch it in the order I want, and enjoy it at my leisure rather than relying on whatever channel(s) it's on now or spend more on the full series digitally than I did on this boxed set.

This is a staple of the mid/late 80's to the mid 90's. At that time it was funny, controversial and the PC is akin to a Mel Brooks movie...none at all. If you have never watched the show, you will probably recognize a majority of the characters and get offended all at the same time You're welcome!

I purchased this set because of the price ($30 for all 11 seasons!) and my love of the show. This is a bare bones set. Each DVD is in an individual paper holder stacked inside of the case, there are no special features what so ever. It's just the episodes on 21 discs and not remastered so it kind of shows its age. For me it was worth the buy because like I said before I love the show and hey you can't beat the price.

The price on this was so good ($25 for 11 seasons) that I ended up buying this as an impulse purchase. Very glad I did! The show was funnier than I remember (probably because I was only 14 when it went off the air, so I lacked the life experience to truly "get" Al Bundy) and the quality of the product is great!

If you grew up in the 90's then you probably watched this show live on Fox. It is great to see that you can still purchase this series and relive the great moments of the Bundy family. This show was originally shot on video and unfortunately cannot be upgraded like shows that were shot on film. Get it while you still can!

This was one of the funniest and well written comedies ever aired on TV. To own the complete series in one box set is very satisfying. The purchase at Best Buy was effortless, and in this pandemic environment, safe as well. The store had obviously been prepared in the interest of cleanliness and safety. The associates were friendly and helpful. All-in-all a satisfying experience. I haven't been able to watch the entire set of discs yet but what I have watched have been high quality in both picture and sound.

When Married with Children aired back in the 80s-90s, It was one of those shows that pushed the envelope & then destroyed it. With it's brash, tongue & cheek & non-pc humor. It made this show worth watching. & to remind ourselves not to take things too seriously. Especially on TV. So happy the entire series is available in one set. Worth the purchase. However the packaging could of been better. Don't expect an elaborate dvd page holding system, All the dvds are stacked on top of each other & are individually in dvd paper sleeves which is a real shame.

I came into the store to buy something else, but found this instead! I'm a huge fan of the series and was so happy to find an entire series collection for such a low price! The DVDs come in a huge stack of paper envelopes inside a huge plastic clamshell like DVD case. Still, with over 250+ episodes, it was a great steal! Only con is that there was no bluray collection, but I'm hoping for one in the future.

The love this series :-)..... The actors over 12 seasons cohesiveness is breath-taking and how they feed off each-others performances is classic..... As an audience you get to see Kelly and Bud grow into young adults. Also get a nice Cameo from WWE future Hall of Famer, King Kong Bundy in season one :-) Highly recommend this series to anyone who hasn't seen it :-)

This was a great show when on air, and even better now that I don't have to worry about commercials. This set has all the original music restored and has a few bonus items on the last few disc, documenting making of and outtakes. If you grew up watching this show like I did, then you owe it to yourself to add it to your collection.

Very happy! The item was shipped with a friendly smile from the courier, excellent shape of the product. Have watched every bit of the DVD and loved it. Even had parts not included in the initial broadcast. The price was fair and reasonable. You guys rock!

The movie I bought from best buy is great haven't finished watching it all I am still watching it's a great movie to watch over and over again funny not to many bad things and no bad words in the movie that's why i bought it wish more movies like that.

"Married with Children" is a popular, funny long-running sit-com that's sure to keep you laughing throughout each episode. A great bargain to get 262 episodes at barely 10 cents per episode. Also great for binge-watching when there's nothing worthwhile on TV.

What a great TV show! And a great deal on this DVD set! ALL episodes from the entire series right here in one DVD set! You can't go wrong! Add it to your video library today! Nobody can touch this price!

I grew up watching this show in the late 80s and early 90s and it's just as hilarious today. Classic characters and theme song really bring back great memories watching this show. My only complaint is the packaging is bland, I was hoping for a booklet or information per disc but it's just packaged individually in plain envelopes within the box. Still a great value for the compete series though.

I am glad we bought the whole season. This one set has the whole song at the start of each show "love and marriage, love and marriage, goes together like a horse and carriage, ...." The ones we stared to get years ago like the first season didn't have the song. I was very disappointed years ago. I really am happy with this new set of Married with Children.

If you can laugh at yourself without being offended, if you can laugh with others and not at others, if you have a lighthearted humorous side to you, you'll definitely like this series. I don't recommend it for children, but, for adults it can be hilarious.

This is a classic comedy in the days before political correctness. The jokes and punchlines never get old, and I can watch it over and over. It's great that the whole series can be had for such a low price!
