I have evaluated Best Buy's selections in bluetooth speakers many times, over a couple of years. None impressed me enough to make the purchase. Very recently, I noticed the Marshall product line in-store. I found the Middleton model offered the perfect sound and combination of features that I was seeking, so it came home with me. I'm very happy with this purchase. The only downside is that it weighs 4+ pounds, but this is offset by a comfortable and durable heavy-duty carry strap. I recommend that you give the Marshall offerings a listen.. I think you will be impressed!

Sound quality overall is very good. Emphasized mids and good lows without losing much treble. Some of the built in controls on the unit. Battery life is decent, it'll likely run for several hours no issue.

This one is highly recommended. It completely surprised me with the amount of good,clear sound and functionality. It's a huge upgrade over the smallest Marshall speaker and should be a place to start when shopping for a speaker in this category. Take the time to listen to one and you'll be as surprised as I was.

You’re paying extra for the looks but for me it’s totally worth it. Looks great in the home and pumps out some seriously good sound. Took it to the beach and had no issues. Used a soft bristle brush to remive the sand and it looks brand new. Having physical treble and bass controls on the speaker is a huge win for switchimg between podcasts and music. Very happy with my purchase. I bought mine open-box.

I got my middleton in a sale for $200. Came nicely packed. Great Product.At that budget, you dont even need to think or compare with other portable speakers. Simply the best at such price. Audiophiles would simply love the sound.

This was good purchase small and loud. I have always been a Bose type. And I kinda want that base boom from the Bose speaker but this will do u til I can afford the Bose speaker

This is a classic-style speaker with just the right sound volume; I like it.

This is the best portables speaker I own out of three other ones! The sound quality is very crisp and clear. It's almost like you're at a concert if you are playing this at half volume in a room. Speaking of volume, the volume on this thing is insane. I can have this speaker at 75% of its max volume, in my room, and I could hear the music clearly throughout my two story house. As for battery life, this thing can last up to 20 hours per charge, which I think is overkill. Just charge it over night and it's ready for the day. Great for parties too!

This speaker is awesome and I got it on sale for $179 so at that point it was worth it. Sounds great and has some decent bass too for its size.

The speaker sounds really good very impressive bass and clarity. The only complaint I have is that the range from phone to speaker didn’t seem to be very stable during play. I definitely like the Marshall brand and sound. I do have two other Marshall speakers that link together with the Middleton. The stack mode on the app works great when pairing or linking all speakers together although sometimes it can be a little frustrating because you have add additional speakers through the app every time you add a speaker.

Pros: Sounds great for its size. Lots of mid bass. Very portable. Great battery life. Cons: Like it so much I bought a second one. When in stack mode, I felt like they didn’t sound nearly as good. I stacked them and also sat them side by side with about 3 feet apart. The bass seemed to overwhelm the rest of the sound when either stacked or side by side, even with the bass set to one. Anyway I highly recommend buying one as long as you understand the limitation. In other words you not going fill a medium to large backyard with one. For that you need a Marshall Woburn III or JBL PartyBox 310…I know, I have both :).

Awesome sound quality! This is the second Marshall I own. Have had a Stanmore for years. So I wasn’t surprised on how well it sounds and made. They both rock! Perfect size for taking it with you.

Very loud, crisp highs and battery lasts a while.. compared to the jbl i went with marshall even though i use it outside its has the same durability as the jbl

I had a JBL charge5 for years and gave it to my brother and wanted to upgrade to something that sounded better. Sound quality is amazing and the bass is much better than the previous speaker. It is the perfect size for me and the app and buttons on top are also exactly what I wanted.

Great sound for a lil speaker! We have the playing most days in our open concept home and the sound fills our space.

I was choosing between this and a few other speakers andgotta say I a glad I took this one. Sounds amazing and never been wowed by a speaker likei am with this. Perfect sound from anywhere you are sitting from the speaker. Volume is kinda iffy depending on taste in music. Battery is a issue but I think it enough battery for a good night of music!
