Customers love the Middleton Portable Bluetooth Speaker's sound quality, citing amazing audio and impressive bass, even at higher volumes. Many appreciate its portability, despite some noting its weight, and the convenient controls. While some find the price high, the positive feedback on sound quality and features like water resistance outweighs these concerns. The speaker's design also receives praise for its attractive and durable build.

This speaker is great the sound is amazingly loud i recommend it to who ever is looking for a new speaker i went from JBL to Marshall and it’s a big difference in sound the equalizer on the app isn’t so great I wish it had more options the battery life is great it last a whole party and then some great range the subwoofer bass is really good and the tweeters is super clear clean rugged look great for punk rocker / thrash scumbag like myself.

I have evaluated Best Buy's selections in bluetooth speakers many times, over a couple of years. None impressed me enough to make the purchase.
Very recently, I noticed the Marshall product line in-store. I found the Middleton model offered the perfect sound and combination of features that I was seeking, so it came home with me.
I'm very happy with this purchase.
The only downside is that it weighs 4+ pounds, but this is offset by a comfortable and durable heavy-duty carry strap.
I recommend that you give the Marshall offerings a listen.. I think you will be impressed!

You’re paying extra for the looks but for me it’s totally worth it. Looks great in the home and pumps out some seriously good sound. Took it to the beach and had no issues. Used a soft bristle brush to remive the sand and it looks brand new. Having physical treble and bass controls on the speaker is a huge win for switchimg between podcasts and music. Very happy with my purchase. I bought mine open-box.

Marshall Middleton is a fantastic speaker with enveloping sound. I cant believe what comes out of this. When your kicked back in recliner the angle of the speaker ( in my lap) becomes more pronounced with enveloping sound, Even as a main speaker for the Apple TV this is just leaves me speechless in the audio quality. The other players out there have to play catch up. I tested the Homepod, Sonos Era etc and this thing trumps those easily in sound, imaging, separation. Deep bass and depth to the music.

Have purchased several of these to be able to sound Stack them and have one in every room. Can't beat the performance and classic Marshall styling for the price!

I had a JBL charge5 for years and gave it to my brother and wanted to upgrade to something that sounded better. Sound quality is amazing and the bass is much better than the previous speaker. It is the perfect size for me and the app and buttons on top are also exactly what I wanted.

This is the best portables speaker I own out of three other ones! The sound quality is very crisp and clear. It's almost like you're at a concert if you are playing this at half volume in a room. Speaking of volume, the volume on this thing is insane. I can have this speaker at 75% of its max volume, in my room, and I could hear the music clearly throughout my two story house. As for battery life, this thing can last up to 20 hours per charge, which I think is overkill. Just charge it over night and it's ready for the day. Great for parties too!

The speaker sounds really good very impressive bass and clarity. The only complaint I have is that the range from phone to speaker didn’t seem to be very stable during play. I definitely like the Marshall brand and sound. I do have two other Marshall speakers that link together with the Middleton. The stack mode on the app works great when pairing or linking all speakers together although sometimes it can be a little frustrating because you have add additional speakers through the app every time you add a speaker.
Great sound/bass/easy/ annoying on-off "signaling"

Great sound per size (small brick); bass substantial for a BT speaker. A tad pricey maybe bc of the name brand, I get it.
A slick idea but super annoying that anytime you turn on or off, it has a loud "Guitar-Crunch" you can't disable (to my knowledge) IF you don't wan't the speaker to do that (!?!) Hopefully Marshall will address this in a software update perhaps? Haven't emailed Marshall about it yet. Otherwise 5 stars

Pros: Sounds great for its size. Lots of mid bass. Very portable. Great battery life.
Cons: Like it so much I bought a second one. When in stack mode, I felt like they didn’t sound nearly as good. I stacked them and also sat them side by side with about 3 feet apart. The bass seemed to overwhelm the rest of the sound when either stacked or side by side, even with the bass set to one.
Anyway I highly recommend buying one as long as you understand the limitation. In other words you not going fill a medium to large backyard with one. For that you need a Marshall Woburn III or JBL PartyBox 310…I know, I have both :).
