These headphones are very lightweight and nicely made. These headphones are the best fitting headphones in the ear that I've ever tried. I usually have a hard time finding a good fit, even with the different sized ear covers that come with some headphones. These do not come with any additional earbud covers and they are not needed. You adjust the headphones with the cord provided to fit your ear. Once I was finally able to get them connected, the sound quality is very very good clear, and with no delays that you sometimes experience with Bluetooth headphones. They are also very lightweight and you really don't even realize they're there. Overall good quality.

I recently received the Marshal Minor II Bluetooth headphones. Marshal is a long-established name in the music industry and you would expect them to make good sounding headphones. Your expectations would be correct. These earbud-style headphones have massive 14.2mm drivers that produce crystal clear highs, smooth mellow mid-tones, and clear bass sounds. I’m an audiophile that prefers listening to FLAC files over MP3 and with these headphones, you can clearly hear the difference. Marshal claims that they have a 12-hour battery life and that you can get 2 hours of listening time from a 20-minute charge. This is accomplished via a small control module and battery, attached on the wire, about 2.5 inches below the right earbud. Instead of the normal set of 3 control buttons found on most headphones of this type, the module has a single wheel/joystick control. Depressing the joystick for 3 seconds turns them off or on. Press and hold for 5 seconds to set them into pairing mode. A quick press will either start play, pause, or answer/hang-up your phone. Press the control right or left to go to the next or previous track. Holding the control right or left will fast forward or rewind your media. Pushing the control up or down will control the volume while double-pressing the control will activate Siri for you. When you take the buds out of your ears, the brass colored logos on the sides are magnetic and stick to each other, preventing you from losing them and also pausing your listening source. The earbuds do not have multiple size ear tips. Instead, they utilize a system where you can adjust the fit to your ears by making adjustments to the cable which keeps the buds in your ears. They stay in place well and don’t come loose even when you are active. They can, however, be uncomfortable, depending on how the molded plastic earpieces fit into your ear canals. I found that the longer I wear them, the less I noticed the discomfort. Because of their design, there is very little sound isolation. You will still hear everything going on around you and may have to use uncomfortably high volume levels to compensate for all of the outside noises. My only other complaint is the multi-function control/joystick. When trying to press and hold or simply click it, you have to be very careful to press it perfectly straight. Anything not done precisely might instead change your volume, jump you to a different song of something else that you didn’t intend to do.

The earbud space is a pretty hotly contested space and there are so many truly great options that there simply isn't much room for error. While I have never seen or heard the original Marshall Minor's, I can say that the Minor II is a pretty ho-hum follow up I suspect. Pros: - Great battery life - AptX connection capability - Build quality is very good for this price point Cons - Terribly uncomfortable fit - Don't seal in my ears so bass response is a real mixed bag - Overall sound quality is average at best - Joystick control isn't intuitive and bulky - No case included For me the Minor II is a non-starter. Stylish looks and good build quality don't offset the actual reason you buy headphones which is for sound. I couldn't wear them for any real length of time as they simply hurt my ears no matter how much I adjusted them. Of course, your mileage may vary, but the lack of proper fitment also meant subpar sound quality since they don't seal in my ears. I think Marshall needs to go back to the drawing board with these.

I’ll start by saying i have really poor experiences with wireless Bluetooth headsets. The only one I’ve tried so far - until today - that worked for me is the latest Beats Solo, and they are a bit cumbersome in the gym. I wanted to try this Marshall headset because I know the brand name represents professional quality audio solutions and i was pleasantly surprised by the sound reproduction these deliver. Vocals are super clear and there’s just the right amount of bass to fill the music out instead of the tinny sound you get out of AirPods. Where i would have liked to see some improvements on this product was the use of a four way joystick type controller to access key functions. It’s difficult to operate while you’re exercising and i found myself always clicking the wrong way because of how the device orients when it’s hanging on the side of your face. Add to that the LED status light that’s so small i completely missed it for a while and you’ll probably find yourself wondering “is this thing on?” Overall i think the sound quality outweighs the user interface concerns, but you’ll want to try these out first depending on how you like to control your headset.

    Great sound, bad fitting headphones

Let me start off by saying that the Marshall Minor II headphones have an amazing sound, but if they do not perfectly fit your ear then they will not be comfortable at all for you. They do not have any additional fittings or anything to wrap around your ear to help with the fit, so if they are not a good fit for you, you have no options to make it better. They also get very heavy very quickly, partly because of the fit plus the size of them are massive compared to most other headphones. If you are able to size them out for yourself and they fit you well you should buy these if you are interested in them, the sound is amazing. But if they do not fit you they are not a pleasant experience.

Marshall Minor II Earbuds The packaging was very nice and made it feel like it was a higher end product. It comes with the earbuds, USB charging cord, and a multi-language welcome pamphlet. You have to supply your own adaptor in order to charge them in an electrical outlet. As usual with electronic products, don't expect much in the way of instructions. Setup was not extremely intuitive. There's only one multifunctional button that you have to push with precision based on the function you're requesting. Pairing required a few tries as I was unsure of how long, or how many times, to push the button. Not a deal breaker but it certainly could have been easier. It also took a minute to figure out how they fit in my ears. They have a tiny cord that rests under the fold of your ear. This was new to me and there's no picture as to how they're supposed to fit. This also means they don't really for snuggly so they're not noise canceling. There are no complaints with the sound quality. The bass is just ok when listening to music and the volume can get very loud to compensate for the lack of noise cancellation. The multi function button controls everything from sound to forwarding and rewinding your music. Again, there is the need to push it just right for it to respond as you request. Voice quality is good. No one had any issues hearing me on phone calls and I could also hear clearly. Overall it's a decent pair of earbuds for general, everyday use. If you're serious about your music you might want to look at other options.

These headphones sound really good. Nice bass and treble sound. Equal distribution of sound to both ears. Fit is comfortable on the ear. Call quality was excellent when using for phone. One issue I had was pairing. Quick start instructions say to hold pairing button for 5 seconds. It was more like 20 seconds to get them discoverable on my iPhone.

The Marshall Minor II Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones are light, simple, and easy to use. They paired seamlessly with my iPad. I tested them with complex iPad games, with music and with apps that use the keyboard. With music, the sound is rich and clear. When playing video games, There was no lag time. With apps that use a keyboard—messaging an e-mail—there was a slight lag. The Minor II earpieces are connected by a thin cord which is worn behind or in front of the neck. The two earpieces connect magnetically when not in use. The controls are near the right earpiece. The headphones have an innovative fit system. They come with one size of ear gel. Adjust the cord to make a small loop to custom-fit each earpiece. These Bluetooth headphones are comfortable. They would be good for sports, though not rated waterproof. The single control button/ joystick allows you to answer phone calls, change music, etc.

These really are nice earbuds. Very comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I love to use them for music and when I'm at work to answer calls. These connect easily and quickly through Bluetooth, and have quite a long battery life. My only con about these would be the one button system/remote piece in general. It is a little heavy and needs to be lower down the cord. Though one button does everything necessary, sometimes it is hard to do certain commands; I find myself having to hold the button down several times for several seconds each time to turn them on and off, for example. Overall a great product for the price!

The bass quality pleasantly surprised me. The size of the earpiece closes your ear up for a better simulates noise canceling feature. I love the battery life so far and the mic far surpassed my expectations. Very good product!

These are ok. Sound quality is average. The ear buds are not very comfortable, I found them a little to big for my ears. Easily paired. Looks decent, not heavy, not too light either.
