I've been testing the Marshall Minor IV Wireless earbuds for a week. Overall, the Marshall Minor IV Wireless earbuds are a solid mid-range option with great design, comfortable fit, and good sound quality. However, the app connectivity needs some improvement.
I just love the design. The charging case has a luxurious faux-leather look that feels surprisingly lightweight and pocket-friendly, especially considering it holds 30 hours of charge and supports wireless charging. The earbuds themselves share this premium feel with their aluminum knurling. Most importantly, they're lightweight and comfortable for extended wear.
Sound quality is good. Especially in the high and mid ranges, which is great for some genres. Bass was a little too light for my taste. The equalizer in the Marshall app should help with that. Unfortunately, the app connectivity wasn't ideal for me. The Google Play Store brought up multiple unofficial Marshall apps, making it difficult to find the right one. Once I did, I couldn't get the equalizer to function properly. This would most likely be fixed in an app update but is worth mentioning..
Bluetooth connectivity was outstanding. The earbuds connect quickly and maintain a flawless connection to my phone. When connecting to two bluetooth devices at the same time the earbuds worked well with the exception of a little lag when switching devices.
Battery is impressive. While using the earbuds on a daily basis for a few hours a day. Mostly listening to music, watching videos and making phone calls, I barely used 30% of the cases battery.
With that being said, these are probably best suited for someone that prioritizes style, battery longevity and comfort.

I work out at the gym 4-5 days a week so I'm always up to find the perfect earbuds for my hour long sessions. Although the Marshalls didn't hit that "perfect" box for me, it is a really good set of earbuds. I'll get this out of the way, the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because in my opinion, at this price point for a non anc earbuds, my expectations is high. I want to preface this that I also understand the things I didn't like is also relative. I wasn't too impress with the sound. Don't get me wrong, these sound great but at the gym, my playlist can be bass heavy and these just didn't hit like my other earbuds. But on the other hand listening to music that is mid or high heavy sounds, it does sound great. I had to turn the bass up to max to get the sound I wanted so the sound was there, but it just felt wrong to turn it up so high LOL. Not a big fan of touch sensitive controls as well. My big sausage fingers can never get my past earbuds to do what I wanted and was never happy about 1 tap for this 2 taps for that blah blah blah. The Marshalls control was straight forward and easy to remember and use, but I still prefer actual buttons. Again, personal preference. Open ear design can let noise in which depending on your surroundings can be a good thing or a bad thing.
There is a lot to like about these earbuds though. The thing that I noticed first is how cool these things looks, from the case to the earbuds themselves, they really stand out. The case is textured which felt great and secure in the hands. The lid also felt solid which surprisingly many many earbuds don't. The earbuds also has a great looking design which, imo, makes them look great. I got a real feel that these are durable and will last a long time. The mic was very good as well. Conversations even in noisy areas, I never had to raise my voice and never had anyone on the other side complain about not being able to understand me. They are also multi-point capable which is super nice. Being able to go from phone to computer seamlessly is a really convenient feature. And the range is quite good. I'm able to walk around the whole gym without losing connection. Battery life is on par with most earbuds at this price point. Marshalls claim a 30 hour case which, so far, I think is right about there. It also has a quick charge, 15 minutes in the case will give you 3 hours. Far better than other earbuds. Wireless charging on the case, but imo, this should not be something to brag about at this price point. Marshall's app is ok, just as good as my other earbuds, nothing that really stands out. All in all, this is a really good set of tws. I would give it 5 stars if it was just a little less expensive.

The Marshal Minor IV's are an okay set of true wireless headphones. They were easy to pair with my Pixel 8 Pro. Unfortunately in my situation they are a terrible fit for my ears. They are constantly moving around, and always feel like they're just about to fall out. The only thing I could really do comfortably with them in was sit down and listen to music or watch videos. I tried doing some laundry with them in, and they constantly kept falling out. On the other hand, my wife was able to use them without as many issues as me.
They sound surprising good for how loose the are in my ears. Too bad they won't stay in better, because putting a little pressure on them the sounds goes from decent to freaking amazing. This was a bit of a disappointment for me since this is the first time I've had this experience with the Marshall brand. I own quite a few Marshall Bluetooth speakers and headphones/earbuds, and never had an issue like this.
The supplemental app is pretty good when it loads, but the app is somewhat buggy with these headphones. Sometimes it finds the device, sometimes not. When it does load, it will not load the "Equaliser" for these headphones.
The touch controls are overly sensitive. I experienced lots of accidentally presses just trying to keep these in my ears. Thankfully there is an option in the app to disable the touch controls. I ended up just shutting the touch controls off all together which made it a better listening experience for me.
The battery life is as advertised. One thing to note is that the charge cord is very short, but as a plus they can be wirelessly charged.

Hello there, thanks for your review and feedback. Sounds like the Motif II ANC with the sizing sleeves would be a better option for you, you can then find the right sized tips to create a secure fit and isolate the audio. If the equalizer isn't loading, often a factory reset of the earbuds and a restart of the app will resolve this issue. If it doesn't, please reach out to the Marshall Support Team through the official online store for assistance.

For those of you looking for bass, these absolutely deliver. They have a rich and full sound profile that pumps out a very deep low end with a crisp and clear high end to match.
The looks are also to die for especially if you’re a Marshall fan. Their signature design theme is all around from the texture around the case to the knurled texture on the stems of the buds. These look fantastic.
These are the two highlights of these earbuds - sound quality and design. Let’s talk about some other things though.
I’d almost call these direct Marshall clones of Apple’s popular AirPods. The case is nearly identical when it comes to shape and size and the earbuds themselves are also shockingly similar except for the Marshall theme.
For fit and security, again, quite similar AirPods where they nestle inside the ear but aren’t secure enough for sports. They’re quite comfortable but probably not secure enough for anything more than gym use. They lack silicone or foam eartips just like AirPods but it surprisingly does not affect sound quality - again, the sound is amazing but eartips can help keep earbuds more secure.
I love the characteristic Marshall texture on the outside of the case however getting the buds out of the case isn’t awesome where there isn’t enough of the bud sticking out to make it easy enough to just quickly grab them.
The touch controls on the outside of the buds are also frustrating. They’re placed on the outside of the bud themselves - not the stem. This results in accidental presses when adjusting the bud for a secure fit (which is sometimes needed since these don’t have the most secure fit with eartips).
The stems themselves seem unnecessarily long as well but those will be the most appropriate place to hold to adjust fit as well as inserting/removing them from your ears.
It seems like Marshall made these earbuds purely for the sake of making earbuds with Marshall branding. I very much like their bluetooth speakers with the retro look, analog controls, and killer sound, but I’m not sure these offer much more than other comparably priced earbuds.

Hello, thank you for your review and feedback regarding the Minor IV. While we agree that open-fit earbuds may have a similar form/shape and case as other brands, the signature sound, the internal components and Marshall design definitely set these apart from the others. The Minor IV use the Marshall Bluetooth app to provide the user the opportunity to set the touch controls and other features to their own preferences. Thanks for trying the earbuds and for your feedback.

These earbuds are great for what I was specifically looking for. I say specfically, because there are negatives, but for me, really fit well. I have sound proof over the ear headphones which are great, but on a warm sunny day (which it has been recently), these Minor IV Earbuds work great at being out of the way on my head. Working out or taking a walk with these on, stayed in my ears. I personally do not like the rubber nub end pieces that most manufacturers use, and these seem designed to not need any, which is great!
Sound is loud and crisp. I have read about the concerns regarding lack of bass, but I do not hear a lack of it. These are not noise cancelling buds, which is fine by me. At the highest peak, it is plenty loud.
Touch controls work good. The volume change in small amounts so it doesn't hit top volume in 2 seconds. The actual earbuds have a nice texture to them I appreciate. Gold accent on the bottom to replicate an amp, which is cool.
These earbuds use a current version of BT and connect immediately. Currently I have them paired with my TV, tablet & phone and switches with minimal effort.
Battery life is advertised at 30 hours. I have been using my daily but after 4 days, they are still going strong above 50 percent, which is a great sign.
The price is unfortunately one of the of the downsides and is pricey for what it is and what it doesnt have (noise cancelling). The only other downside I have, is that they are very difficult to get out of the case.
While pricey, these Marshall Minor IV earbuds are great. Convenient, sounds good and has good battery life and looks the part. Now I can use these while doing chores around the house like dishes, or going for a walk and not worry about sweat getting on them.
I would recommend these wireless earbuds.

I have owned the previous generation of these earbuds, so I can say the Marshall Minor IV earbuds are more refined, more comfortable and continue to be stylish, differentiating themselves from the rest with a textured material on the stems and the charging case as well as nice shiny golden tips and the signature “M”. They also offer good all-around sound quality, but that is highly dependent on how well they fit in your ear and what kind of music you like listening to. They offer a comfortable open-fit design, so they do not come with different size ear tips.
Sound quality is good for everyday indoor use, crisp highs, clear mids and just enough bass. The new Marshall App offers an equalizer, remapping the touch controls, enabling/disabling the audio prompts as well as the automatic on/off when you take them out of your ears. Another interesting feature is the battery preservation option that is meant to extend overall battery lifetime by not charging it too 100%, so you’ll have about 10% less play time between charges.
You can charge them wirelessly or with the very short USB-C cable they came with. That was probably intended to be charged from your laptop or hanging from a wall plug, since the cable is only a few inches long. Once fully charged in about 2 hours, you’ll have up to 7-hours of playtime and can recharge them from the case multiple times adding up to 30 hours.
There is no Active Noise Canceling and because there are no silicone tips to fill your ear canal, there could be a good amount of ambient sound coming through. I find myself having to push them in my ears once in a while to get fuller sound and more bass.
The touch controls are intuitive, they are your typical 1 tap to play/pause, 2 taps to skip to the next track and 3 taps to go to the previous track. They also have a customizable long-press tap. They have been upgraded to Bluetooth 5.3 future proofing for LE audio. Connecting them to my Samsung Galaxy smartphone was seamless, didn't require a pin and has decent range away from my phone or laptop. You just press and hold the pairing button on the case and accept the connection on your phone. Once you install the App, you can also upgrade the firmware which is always good practice.
Overall they look and sound pretty good for the price, so if you know and love the brand for their audio heritage these are worth a try.

[PROS]
Extremely Comfortable: The comfort level is these earbuds are second to none. I find them highly convenient to use on the go or while working at home.
Long Battery Life: As a current owner of the Marshall Major IV, the battery life performance is no surprise. I'm able to get tons of usage out of it with normal settings, and able to squeeze out more battery from the app preservation features. I get well over 20+ hours without having to recharge the case.
Impressive Sound (After Adjustment): The Marshall sound is very distinct. By default, there isn't heavy emphasis on the bass, but I still find the audio well rounded in many songs. However, I did tweak the EQ settings to make the sound suit my preferences for certain genres.
Other Likes: Connectivity is consistent even when I left my phone upstairs to grab something from a different room within the house. The app is convenient and straightforward in use for getting the most out of the earbuds. Also, I'm a fan of the slim, taller design of the charging case which makes these ideal for traveling in the pocket.
[CONS]
Subpar Microphone: I don't find the microphone quality suitable enough to want to take regular calls with. With little noise in the background, the mic works well enough. However, my voice is a bit muffled in a noisier environment. This issue is not unique to Marshall, but more so long stem design earbuds.
[CONCLUSION]
For sound, the Marshall Minor IV Earbuds are very solid for use in a variety of situations. I just don't find the microphone quality to be as pleasant as I would want it to be a noisy environment. Nevertheless, every other feature has been A1 for me. From the battery life to the app features to just the overall sound, I truly like using these earbuds and others will too.

Overall, I really like these Marshall Minor IV True Wireless Earbuds - I've been using them extensively these past few days since I received them (think HOURS and HOURS of conference calls - and then listening to music in the evenings) and think I have a good feel for them. They're not perfect, but they're a worthy alternative to other (often more expensive) alternatives. Are they for you? Read on to find out!
First, to my mind as a huge user of Bluetooth headsets, there are three things that I look for. First is sound - both the sound they produce through the speakers and the sound they take in through the microphones. Here, these Marshall earbuds excel - even without the app / equalizer (which makes them even better if you want to use it), they sound great on both spoken word content / conference calls and music. They have a neutral tone out of the box that works well with all types of music and they have a fairly deep - given their size - sound stage to produce a variety of tones well. You can tailor them to your personal sound preferences in the app, but I ended up coming back to the default as it's good for everything (your mileage may vary - you may prefer a different setup which is fine!). The microphones pick up my voice clearly even in a somewhat noisy environment according to people I was speaking with on calls so they're a win in that category too.
Second is battery life - if you're using these for a LONG time, you want battery that will keep up. I was able to use them beyond a full day on a single charge of the case (and they probably had more left) and a 3 hour+ call on a single charge of the buds themselves (which also had more left) so they're great on that front. I do wish that they had an indicator on the case to show how much battery the case had left (some others have 2-3-4 LEDs to show the battery level) but this setup is perfectly workable.
Third is comfort. This is the most personal of the measures, to be sure and that's doubly so for these earbuds. Whereas some other earbuds use interchangeable silicon tips to "personalize" the fit, these earbuds use a fixed plastic earpiece. The sizing works well for me, since I typically use the default medium earpieces anyhow, that may not be the case for everyone. At any rate, for my purposes, these earbuds are comfortable and I can wear them without issue for hours on end which meets my measure of use just fine!
Outside of the "big three," these earbuds do seem to generally be well-made and should prove to be durable enough for this type of product. They use a textured plastic that seems to be decorative (to look like Marshall amps, etc.) that I'm not a HUGE fan of - it can look / feel a bit cheap - but it doesn't really impact the day-to-day use of the earbuds and I basically stopped noticing it after a couple of hours of use. I find them to compare favorably to other earbuds I've used in this (or even a slightly higher) price range.
So, that brings me back to where I started. I really like these earbuds overall and I can certainly recommend them based on the above measures. If they sound good to you, give them a try today!

Fitment and comfort issues

Let me preface this review by saying I love Marshall products. I have a Stanmore III that is just an amazing Bluetooth speaker, and a pair of Major 5 over the ear headphones that are wonderful. But other than decent sound quality and battery life, the Minor IV’s don’t have much going for them.
Sound Quality - 4/5 stars. Bass is decent, treble is warm and pleasant. Volume is decent, but I’ve had louder ear buds.
Fitment - 1/5. I couldn’t get these to stay in my ears. They don’t come with rubber grommets, so there is no adjustability to the fit. Exercising, chewing food, walking around normally, they loosened up and started to fall out. That also affected the bass that the Minor IVs could put out, they just couldn’t stay in the ear canal well enough to get good bass response.
Comfort - 1/5. I found that I had to keep pushing them back into my ears to get them to stay and sound good. This also led to sore ears, as I had to force them into the ear canal regularly. I was lucky to use them for a half hour before having to remove them.
Functionality - 2/5. The touch features are very sensitive. Everything I did seemed to set the touch feature off and activated the play/pause. That’s not a good thing. My wife leaned in to give me a kiss and her hair paused the music that was playing. It was slightly annoying. I turned off the touch features in the app, but every time you open the box and pull out the ear buds, it resets the app. So you have to turn the touch feature off again.
Battery Life - 5/5. Battery life is excellent. I used the Minor IVs steady for a week, still haven’t had to charge them.
I dislike leaving bad reviews, but I didn’t find much about the Minor IVs that I liked. I feel like they were very basic headphones and not deserving of their price tag.

The Marshall Minor IV True Wireless Earbuds are pretty good for basic listening needs. The earbuds come well packaged with everything laid out for a quick and easy install process. The earbuds come in a case that resembles the design of other brands. The case has a nice design with it having a textured finish which replicates the feel of Marshall speaker cabinets. The case can be charged wirelessly via a charging pad or you can charge it with the included USB-C cable. The included USB-C cable is rather short, but can be good for traveling. It does not come with a USB-C brick, which many devices now do not include. The process of pairing the earbuds to my phone out of the box was extremely easy. They were already in paring mode, so all I had to do was go to the Bluetooth settings of my phone and pair them. It has a pairing button at the bottom of the case next to the USB-C plug where you can pair them to another device if needed. The sound quality is decent. It has good highs and decent mid levels, but it’s lacking in the low frequencies. If you like listening to music that has deep bass, you maybe a little disappointed. The Marshall Bluetooth app allows me to change the sound of the earbuds using some of the preset EQ settings, or I can customize my own sound. This helps to tailor the sound to my liking, but it still does not have as much bass as I’d like. The sound overall is pretty good. They also claim to have about 30 hours of music playback.
One thing I wish they had was noise cancellation. Since they did not have noise cancellation, you won’t be able to block out unwanted sounds while listening to the earbuds in a noisy environment. Overall, these are some good earbuds that work for most listening needs.

I've used quite a few wireless headphones/ear buds throughout the years, as well as many speakers. I can think of only two brands that have really stood out - as the cream of the crop - Marshall is one of the top two I can think of!
They cover the whole range of sound, at least what my tired old ears can hear, which means if it can't produce it, I likely wouldn't have heard it anyhow.
The tiny pocketable case holds enough power to get roughly 30 hours worth of listening out of - perfect for almost a week at work, considering I can't have them in all the time anyhow.
They've proven to be exceptionally comfortable to wear for extended periods as well , where as so many others make the insides of my ears sore after several hours of use.
One request to ALL the wireless manufacturers - how about everyone having a pow-wow and standardize the touch gestures of your headsets? It's a regular nightmare to not confuse them if you have several pairs that you switch between, leaving you having to either carry around multiple instruction cards/cheat sheets or having to continously look up online what does what on the headphones you're wearing at the moment!

This is my first pair of Marshall earbuds and I had heard good things. The Minor IV earbuds connected to my phone very easily and I was able to use them instantly.
My first issue is the ear fit. It feels like the earbuds are going to far out of my ear and I keep adjusting them. Because I keep touching the earbuds, I continue to pause and play my music while I keep adjusting them to stay inside my ear.
Once I'm able to get the earbuds to stay in, the sound quality is very good.
Since they're not staying in my ear, I gave them to my wife and she doesn't have the ear issues that I'm having.
We're both impressed with the battery life and the battery life has lasted close to twenty-four hours.
Also, once you download the app, you can turn off the touch controls on the earbuds.
While the sound quality is very nice, I have to say that the Marshall Minor IV earbuds are just ok for me. I would recommend trying them first before making the purchase, especially if your ear doesn't fit well with certain earbuds.

I was very excited to see the Marshall Minor IV earbuds, if for no other reason than they look really cool. Marshall is known for intentional design on their products, and I'm a big fan of those designs. I have an Emberton bluetooth speaker that has a really great design, and I saw something in the photos of the Minor IV that definitely drew me in.
That excitement started to wear off as I got further into the unboxing. They are about the size of the original Apple Airpods, but the case is black with an almost snakeskin finish on it. Again, they look great. But picking the case up, things began to shift for me.
First, the case feels very cheap and plasticky. There isn't really much heft to it, having an almost hollow feeling. The hinge mechanism and lid is fine, but nothing to write home about. They do charge wirelessly as well as via USB-C, so that's not nothing.
Getting into the case to the buds themselves, and again, gorgeous...but also very lightweight. Form factor is again very similar to Airpods, but the stems have a very cool knurled design that I wish, in my heart of hearts, was some type of metal composite instead of plastic. Look great, feel cheap.
The buds themselves don't have any sort of noise canceling capability, they don't have ear tips, and they are extremely lightweight. As far as performance, they sound about as good as they feel...light, hollow, and plasticky. They weren't BAD...they were just far from good. Now, due to their weight, they are super comfortable to wear for a long time, and especially if you're looking for something to wear while still being able to hear your surroundings, these definitely do the job.
The buds also have customizable touch controls on the top portion of the bud, not the stems. They are customized within the app, which is a perfectly capable and basic app that allows for custom EQ adjustments on the buds. The controls themselves are pretty sensitive, which I found to be more bad than good: due to the relatively loose fit of the buds in my ears, pushing them back into place often times caused an accidental press of the touch controls. They are, however, very responsive.
The buds fit in the case is also a little bit weird for me: they do snap into place, but they wiggle within the case when fully seated. They're also somewhat difficult to remove, as they have a mostly smooth and slick outer surface and are hard to get a hold of when they're in the case.
So obviously, I didn't love them. I barely even liked them. They certainly do the job, but at what cost? The $130 price tag seems a bit high to me. At $100, I'd consider recommending them, as they do look really cool and they offer some basic functionality that would be good for certain types of users. But Marshall is known for quality, and for good sound, and these buds just aren't that. I would say more than anything else I found these to be disappointing, despite being very excited about their design and my past experience with other Marshall products.

Hello there, thank you for your review and feedback regarding the Minor IV. It sounds like the open-fit earbuds aren't for you, the Motif II ANC with the sizing sleeves and inner ear canal fit may be better suited to your preferences. Keep in mind that the open fit vs. the seal of sizing tips will also influence the audio experience: if you don't get the right fit with the Minor IV, you may not be getting the designed audio experience either. The Minor IV earbuds have unbelievably high-quality bass sound, certain kinds of music are very enjoyable with these, but the clarity of the treble sound could use some work. I would say 70s and 80s music is ideal for listening to with Minor IV's, but more modern music which tends to have a higher quality digital recording may not sound as clear. I was unable to play with the equalizer settings, because at the time of review, their Android App had a glitch that prevented the equalizer from opening.
They come with a case which has a texture to it which feels better than an untextured case, and is less likely to slip out of your hands. USB-C charging on the case has become the standard, which means I almost always have a charger ready to use with it. Like most similar devices, when the earbuds charge is low you can charge them with the power in the case itself without another power source.
Pros:
Great Bass Sound
1970s-1980s recorded music sounds great, I could listen for hours of enjoyment
Comfortable in the ears
Loud enough volume
Cons:
Poor quality treble sound
Recent music from the last ten years or so does not sound as clear as it should
Android App wasn’t able to open the Equalizer function, but a future update might fix that

Hello there, thanks for your review and feedback. The Minor IV are designed with an expertly balanced sound, have a long battery life and have a great fit. They do have some plastic in the build, but only 42%, to be exact. Have you tried any 3rd party equalizers to see if they help you to achieve the bass level that you are looking for?

Look good and sound good, a little big for my ears

These headphones sound good, they support HD music, and the headphones themselves feel good besides that they are a little too big for my ears, so if you have larger ear holes they should fit nicely but they aren’t my favorite fit. The case snaps shut nicely and the white name on black looks good in my opinion along with the leather looking design. I don’t love that it isn’t leather, it is hard light plastic it just looks like leather from a distance. The case isn’t the highest quality feeling either. The app takes some patients, the Bluetooth connection isn’t the most stable when it comes to the app, the music works good but opening the app and changing the settings is difficult, I ended up opening the app and just waiting, usually within 5 min the screen I was trying to get to would populate or the app would realize that the headphones have been connected the entire time. Then I was able to disable the controls on the buds themselves as they were a little too sensitive for my taste and then they worked pretty decently overall. This was tested on a Samsung z fold 5, so a decently new android phone. They sound good and they look good, but if you are hoping to use the app on an android phone, I’m not sure I would recommend these.

These are simply exquisite earbuds. They are precise, accurate, and detailed. There is no way Marshall could possibly make something this wonderful. I fully expected big bass, loud, harsh - well hurt my ears rock music. Not at all, they are exactly the opposite of all that. Comfortable to use and listen to.
They fit my ear nicely, and stay put without feeling strange. The charging case is just a pleasure to hold. The fake deep leather looks like their amps, and makes the case easy to hold. It charges either with a USB-C connection or just about any Qi wireless charger (I used a Nomad magsafe base). The earbuds slip easily into the case for charging.
The whole tapping touching routine works well. You have to learn the dance, just like any other wireless device. Volume change waits just a moment before it starts and is proceeded by a low level beep.
There is no noise cancelling, so environmental sounds come through. Volume is the only noise cancel.
I like these a lot. They're beautiful earbuds.

Fitment Issues

I have had multiple Marshall products over the years and have always loved their products. Their headphones (on the ear) as well as their earbuds (Motif ANC) have been stellar products for me. I ordered these Minor 4 earbuds to use when active noise cancelling is not needed. I have used these for the gym as well as simple walks to be able to listen to music, podcasts etc. Unfortunately, there is no way to get a good fit with these earbuds to take advantage of the wonderful signature Marshall sound that I have so enjoyed on my other Marshall products. I am a very average male, 5'10, and in good physical shape so these should fit rather well. As the just rest on the opening of the ear and do not really penetrate the external ear canal, there is absolutely no way to get a good enough seal to take advantage of the sound qualities of Marshall's signature sound. The only wat to do so is to use both hands to "push" them in the ears to get a seal. Then, and only then, can you appreciate the sound generated. Once this is done, the sound is wonderful but obviously one cannot walk around with both hands pushing on the buds into the ear. They also fell out multiple times while walking due to the placement issues on, not in the ear canal. There is also no "modifying the fit of these with different sized earbud tips due to their design. I am not quite sure why Marshall did not stick to the insertion format of the Motif ANC earbuds which are stellar in fitment and sound. They could have simply made a non-ANC version of the Motif and reduced cost for those not needing the acive noise cancelling feature. I simply cannot recommend this product due to its fitment difficulties.

Hello Jeff, thanks for your review and feedback. The Minor IV are an open-fit earbud, as opposed to the Motif II ANC which use ear tips to create a seal and sit right in the ear canal. Sounds like you prefer the earbuds that sit in the ear canal; there are other users who prefer the open-fit models. We love that you tried these and appreciate that they aren't the right fit for you.
