Great little Bluetooth speaker! Not too heavy on the bass, definitely for true Rock n Roll fans. I personally listened to each bluetooth speaker on display in the store until I found the one that I thought produced the quality listening experience I was looking for. I was tuning my ear for what I felt produced the best sound for Classic Rock, Indie, Post Punk, Punk, Grunge, etc.
In contrast to JVC, and a few other popular brands I felt like this speaker wasn't just built for Pop and Rap, which I listen to, but isn't my first choice for entertainment.
The bluetooth pairing is pretty good. I purchased two speakers because you can stack them, but I find it tricky to remember how many times you have to press the main button to use this feature. I've learned to keep the user manual nearby. Once the speakers are paired/stacked the music delivery is seamless. I keep one speaker in the living room and one in the kitchen of my apartment and it makes a big difference having the two.
The outer casing is very rugged, and can take a drop, it also comes with a strap on the back so you can hang, or secure it to a wall hook, or get creative with what's available to secure to. It has a long charge life and charges quickly as well. I am disappointed with the length of the charging cable, it is way to short. They need to add at least 6-10 inches more to the wire.

Very compact, yet surprisingly loud and the sound quality is amazing. The size allows me to bring it anywhere, and it looks so cool. Minimal and classic styling. Got mine during the sale. Great deal!

The best speaker ever! The sound is clear and it can reach a high volume. The look is also superior and is durable material. I am pleased and happy with this purchase. I’ve used it many hours without a single charge yet.

The quality here is pretty impressive upon first few uses. For such a tiny little device, it produces an imposing sound profile through to the peak of its volume. The WILLEN holds its charge even through extended use at maximum volume and can be charged during use to create endless listening. It connects easily and quickly to your device and plays a little guitar strum when connected and on start up. The gold front facing button serves as power, pause and play. I know its probably a me issue, but after maybe a few dozen hours at maximum volume, the sound quality degrades pretty significantly on the low end, so if you need a high volume device for extended listening, maybe choose the next tier from this Marshall product line, the EMBERTON. Despite only owning the device for a month and needing to replace it, I'll be upgrading to the EMBERTON and hoping the volume durability suits my needs better than the WILLEN because certainly the sound quality of Marshall's WILLEN has earned a repeat customer.
Hello there, we like this! Hopefully the Emberton will keep you hooked and have you looking for bigger sound as well, on to the Middleton! It is true that the bigger speakers will provide a sound that will saturate a larger space, however, the smaller speakers do not sacrifice on quality. We hope you are able to find a speaker that you are able to enjoy.

I have two of the Bose micro speakers and have used them for a long time now. You buy these because you can travel with them and they give off good sound. Light and just easy to use. I decided that it was time for an upgrade and saw many reviews on this little guy and decided to take the plunge.
Let me say that I put this little sucker on my kitchen table, turned on Kendrick & Dre "Recipe" and was immediately like "WHHHHOOOOA THERE LITTLE BUCKAROO!!!"
This guy isnt intended to make the walls shake. Its intended to make your body vibrate. Meaning make you hear what you came to hear and it does. Im jamming my butt off but then said ok calm down...play something smoother...something easy and see how this square hockey puck does...
So I did and turned on some Tevin Campbell "Can We Talk" and was sold. Receipt and box, straight to the trashcan because this guy isnt going back.
After about 20 mins of jamming out, I threw this little guy into my suitcase because he is headed with us on vacation.
Good buy here. I will say that I hear people compare the sound of this to the Tribits and say the Tribits is just as good but $50 cheaper. I have NOT heard the Tribits but I will say the one bougie thing about the Marshall I like is the design that it can stand or lay flat and looks good doing either while the Tribits looks kinda toyish.

Great Bluetooth speaker as a portable speaker.
Pros: Easily connects, easy controls on the device itself, durable, built in microphone, love the style (cream), connect with app to choose from 3 built in equalizer settings
Cons: The sound can use a little more punch. Would have wanted a lot more sound options through the app,
I would recommend this to a friend

Stellar little speaker... with a BOOMING QUALITY OF LOUD. I use it in the shower to blast my music and do some karaoke. Little speaker was charged one night weeks ago, its close to dying barely. Been waiting to review but honestly more interested on buying a set just to be MOREEEEE louder. The speakers. Pair. Dogggg. Gonna use it for camping for sure. Love it.

The size of the speaker does not reflect the amazing sound! I take it everywhere with me, its does not take alot of space. Id buy it again in a heart beat..

The speaker is really cool looking and nice size for portability. It is definitely nice to have on a shelf or desk or if you are hanging out at the park, beach or camping.
Unboxing was easy, as well as set up. Similar with all bluetooth devices you press and hold the button and wait for your phone or laptops to recognize. As soon as it paired with my phone it immediately said to download the "Marshall" app. As soon as I downloaded it allowed me the options to skip the personal information which is great because its annoying when every single company is trying to track everything we do nowadays. As soon as the app was configured I connected to my apple music list and started playing.
The app has three pre configured equalizer set up - Marshall, Bass boost and Voice. I tried each one at medium volume level. Marshall sounds tinny and hollow, the Bass Boost was OK and the Voice was good for voice only. After medium level, I increased the volume and was not impressed and was disappointed. Marshall is known for their amplifiers and this speaker although its bluetooth and portable does not hit it out of the park.
Overall, I gave it 3 stars only because the design and the material used was very nice and its waterproof which is a great feature for portability. It just missed the mark on sound quality at higher volumes.

This is probably the nicest subcompact speaker out there, but it is quite expensive. It sounds good, feels good in the hand, and looks great, but from a value standpoint it falls flat (a JBL flip is larger and louder for the same money, for instance). This was not a huge concern for me since I bought it as a gift for someone who loves the aesthetic and wanted a nice speaker to carry in a handbag. It was the perfect choice for this case.

When I received this Marshall - Willen BT Portable Speaker and opened the outer box, I just new that this was going to be something special. Marshall does a fabulous job of packaging their products, even the cardboard top has the year of their existence.
When you get through the packaging and get the portable speaker out of the box you will see that its top of the line. I was impressed with the textured finish on the speaker and the rubberized coating. I had intentions of using this Marshall speaker to replace the one on our golf cart, but I just can’t, it is far louder than our old one, it has a mounting strap, it would look great, but that’s the reason I can’t. This speaker looks and feels amazing.
But, the sound it produces is top of the line. I downloaded the Marshall app and connected it to my cell phone, which takes only seconds to do, the app leaves a lot of meat on the bone when it comes to controlling the sound, it has three selections (Marshall, Push, and Voice) that you can use to control the equalizer. I chose the Marshall preset and the sound is clear and the bass and treble are “set for a very good” listening experience. The speaker comes w/ a charging cord and a quick start guide that is somewhat confusing as to how to operate the speaker.
Overall this is a very well made speaker. And I would HIGHLY recommend it.

This speaker is very loud and so much better than the Bose Soundlink Micro. It does lean a little on the bassier side than the standard bose sound signature but by no means significantly. It's a good thing and this unit can get LOUD. The speaker also easily lasts 10+ hours on a full charge, and one speaker alone is enough to fill up to 2 rooms with sound. Do note however, the clarity starts to suffer once you push volume past 80%.
My biggest gripe with this speaker is that you unfortunately can only pair one other speaker with this in stack mode. Stack mode implies that you can link as many marshall speakers of the same kind together, but testing showed you can only link together 2 units. Linking a third unit to the group disables the first two. This might be a dealbreaker for some people. But on an individual speaker basis- i highly recommend it.

Dynamic sound! I am extremely pleased with the battery life as well! I streamed my music for 5 hours continuously and it still had over 50% power remaining! Very easy to pair with my phone! Very satisfied with this product!

The marshall isn't as bassy as my jbl flip 5 but i think it sounds allot clearer, more midrange which i like.. battery life has been awesome and it's light and easier to bring with you on the go

Great little speaker, great sound and battery life. The strap on the back is a super handy feature. One small complaint is the size of the control knob.

Was interested in a new speaker with a strap after my old Bose gave up on me. This is quite a nice improvement on the Bose (micro I think that has the strap?) that I think is the closest rival in a number of ways. It has better battery life, charges with USB C, has a nice battery indicator and most importantly has a nicer, fuller, more punchy sound. It sounds so much more fun and has a lot more volume it can hit. All round great little speaker
