I bought this because I replaced my receiver and the sound quality from my previous center speaker seemed lacking in quality. As soon as I connect the MartinLogan I could not believe the incredible sound quality. It has incredible bass and mid tones and has totally transformed my overall surround sound system. It weighs a lot so make sure your stand can support it! Worth every dollar.

I bought this MartinLogan - Motion Foundation C1 in the Walnut finish to replace an older Infinity "CRESCENDO CS Video" center channel. I didn't realize what I was missing with my older center channel! This new one is impressive with EXCELLENT refined voice clarity and clean deep bass even at higher volume levels. It acousticlly blends nicely with my MartinLogan Aerius front channel pair that I purchased back in 1997...those still sound fantastic BTW. I have the new center channel placed behind my TV as before for both Dolby movie soundtracks and enhanced 2 channel stereo processing by a Marantz AVR. The MartinLogan C1 was on sale at Best Buy over Labor Day for $439.99. Lucky I caught it on sale, but I would purchase this again at regular price for what it delivers.
I would recommend this to a friend

Best Buy Hometheater studio helped me to experience the immersive sound from Martin Logan speakers. I thoroughly enjoyed it and desperately wanted to get ML Hometheater setup. Though Martin Logan is in experience side, I have been waiting for months but checking atleast 2 times a day for any deals. Finally after 3 months of wait time, I was able to get Martin Logan floor standing speakers and this center channel. Oh my god.. I don’t have words to say the immersive experience I get. It gives me pleasure of being in theatre. Despite I went with 3.1 Chanel, the recommendation from Best Buy for the same is incredible and outstanding ! This one instance show how the store staff of Knowledgeable. Thanks to Andy for helping me out ! He is the best!!

Sounds great and really adds a nice bottom end to the center. Vocals in music and movie dialogue is much richer with very nice highs because of the ribbon tweater. It was on sale when I bought it and was a great deal. Matches great with my Martin Logan Motion 40 towers and sub.

This speaker completed our home theater system. The virtual center created by the ML B10 speakers was good but this addition is even clearer. We now have a solid 3.1 setup and are enjoying it very much.

Worked well with Denon 1800h. Some reason Audyssey set crossover to 40 so manually changed that to 80. As of now no issues, Good buy when its on sale for $399

Absolutely brilliant center channel. Not too big, not wimpy small. Produces the cleanest of vocals and definitely a noticable upgrade from my old center channel. Martin Logan is quickly becoming my favorite speaker company and catching this for $100 off was a nice bonus!

Exceptional addition to home theater system. It is quite large and heavy. I added a robust shelve to hold it below the OLED TV. Great choice and exceptional value at this price point. Unfortunately no longer available around Tampa, FL.

Upgraded from Sony core center channel speaker. I thought the Sony was good until I heard the Martin Logan. It is no comparison. The center channel is the clearest I have heard.

I thought that this speaker was the perfect fit for my new surround sound system. Matt from the Geek Squad came over and matched up my media room with the perfect speaker system.
