I've played the previous ultimate alliance games and this one doesn't disappoint. My son & I play this using local multiplayer. Fun game with decent graphics and gameplay. Large variety of characters to choose from too.

I play a lot of my Switch games while traveling in handheld mode. This one looks great and I have enjoyed the story so far. It reintroduces all the characters from the MCU plus more. Very funny too and I highly recommend!

I bought this game because it was a multiplayer game my kids could all play together. It's a lot of fun for my oldest and I to play together and it's fun to try and unlock all the characters. Kids under 10 are going to get frustrated playing.

I really enjoyed playing UA 1 and 2. Ultimate Alliance 3 is exactly what you'd expect from this series. Lots of button smash and combat chaos. The camera angles can be a little frustrating at times, but overall an enjoyable game.

This game is solid, yes had it come out for other consoles, the other consoles would have been able to run the game much better. Given the Switch hardware limitations this game does exceptionally well. Yes you will notice some muddy textures and noticeable frame-rate drops when doing certain combo and ultimate moves. Despite the tech limitations forced onto this game by being an exclusive (for no reason, IMHO); where this game shines the complete joy it brings back to playing with your buddies or family via couch co-op. The story is meh, honestly its just a remix of the most current MCU movies - however; you are not playing a game like this for story you are playing to destroy SH&*%^(%T and save the day with your friends as super heroes. In the end this game certainly delivers and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun playing with friends locally.

This is a blast to play with kids. Lots of characters although the leveling up and such is a little obtuse. Could be more streamlined and less grindy.

This is a solid game for any Marvel fan with a lot of fan service and wide cast of heroes and villains. The action is fun and great for co-op. It suffers from some camera/difficulty issues but is continuing to receive updates and new content.

I played the original Ultimate Alliance games back on the PlayStation years ago. This updated take on the formula has a lot to offer if you're a Marvel fan. The draw here isn't the story since the infinity stones thing has been done with the films. The draw is the team making and hack-and-slash fun. This game presents challenge if you're looking for it - and while I don't think it is the best game in the series, in my opinion, it is a worthy addition and offers dozens (or hundreds) of hours of play time if you want to go deep with the leveling up system. The graphics are not ground breaking but still good. This is a recommended game for sure, and if you're a Marvel fan, you'll probably LOVE this game.

I was expecting more. The story line seemed rush and just really stale. It was predictable and the character selection was really disappointing. I feel like this game could have been better. I literally felt like I was just fighting one person after another and not really that great. Some tough battles, but overall pretty easy. I think I'm still stuck in the X-men Legends days. That game was amazing! and I feel like each game after that has been slowly going down hill. I'm speaking in regards to the X-men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. If you're a fan of Marvel, it's worth a play. Is it worth the purchase?... really depends how much of a fan you are.

MUA3 is an excellent addition to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance trilogy. Fans of the first two games and the Marvel Universe in general will enjoy the improved graphics and will quickly pick up the gameplay of this third game in the series. Without giving away too much of the plot, the game focuses on a narrative involving the Infinity Stones, further popularized by the live action movies (i.e. Infinity Wars). This will also be a great game for completionist gamers (i.e. gamers who like to collect and unlock everything). There are so many unlockables with a good-sized character roster (this is base game and not including DLCs too). Enjoy!

The unique thing I loved about this comparing with the previous 2 was it stays pretty close to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). You have guardians of the galaxy in here, and you can even play as some of the villains, however can't spoil who. Great game, with updates. Updates that keeps the game fun and not boring so you'll want to keep playing. Could however of had a better story line. The 1st game was always the best in opinion because of the build up in the storyline. Didn't feel like there was much story in this one but with the updates, it gives you new missions that are free DLCs.

Excellent multiplayer game and the season pass makes it even better. The only bad thing about the game is the camera but you can eventually learn to deal with it.

If you are a fan of Marvel games and the Marvel films, this game will be up your alley. The mechanics are pretty sound and have a lot to work towards, but the story is more or less a retelling of what the films just recently wrapped up telling. The 3 in the title is just for brand recognition and is stand alone from the previous entries. The game is fun in single player but it shines in multiplayer. But this is also where it’s worst flaw shines; the camera. In single player, you have control of where the camera goes, but in multiplayer, it’s locked to a specific angle and can not be moved. This causes a lot of headaches when you can’t see enemies and are getting lost behind some geometry. I had fun with this game, but it really needs some tweaks.

This is the game we should have gotten instead of the new Marvel Avengers. This game has a very interesting a long story line combined with the DLC your squeezing 40+ hours of co-op game play easy. You can play locally or online with friends and the 2 views from the classic ultimate alliance to like a more close up angle is a big plus the roster is huge and the story is interesting to say the least ultimate alliance was known for having good cut scenes back in the day but they really stepped it up with this one almost like watching a movie or playing a beat em up/TellTale game.
