If you are a fan of Marvel games and the Marvel films, this game will be up your alley. The mechanics are pretty sound and have a lot to work towards, but the story is more or less a retelling of what the films just recently wrapped up telling. The 3 in the title is just for brand recognition and is stand alone from the previous entries. The game is fun in single player but it shines in multiplayer. But this is also where it’s worst flaw shines; the camera. In single player, you have control of where the camera goes, but in multiplayer, it’s locked to a specific angle and can not be moved. This causes a lot of headaches when you can’t see enemies and are getting lost behind some geometry. I had fun with this game, but it really needs some tweaks.

The game consists of multiple Marvel characters, which I thought is pretty awesome! So many characters to choose from. Me and my kids love this game, and can compete with each other.

This is the game we should have gotten instead of the new Marvel Avengers. This game has a very interesting a long story line combined with the DLC your squeezing 40+ hours of co-op game play easy. You can play locally or online with friends and the 2 views from the classic ultimate alliance to like a more close up angle is a big plus the roster is huge and the story is interesting to say the least ultimate alliance was known for having good cut scenes back in the day but they really stepped it up with this one almost like watching a movie or playing a beat em up/TellTale game.

I played the first game of the series for Xbox 360 and sadly missed the second. The third appears to have been designed exclusively for the Nintendo switch, so there are some major differences. However, the game holds up to the previous installments very well. It definitely still feels exactly like the marvel ultimate alliance games, which is amazing, but it has a little more cartoon-y feel because of the switch graphics. Super fun to play couch coop or online and the infinity trials give you something else to do after you beat the game. I’m having a hard time finding general complaints about the game, most of my frustrations lies within a specific character flaw or something stupidly intricate. Overall the game is a blast and thanos is a baby.

Very fun game! Interesting story and fun characters. If you played X-Men Legends, or the previous entries, then get it! If you have never played any of the previous ones, then get it!

If you're a huge marvel fan, and love the Nintendo switch, this is the game for you! This one has over 30 characters (52 with DLC), a ton of well known areas and plenty of stuff to unlock! You can level up, find treasures, take on rift challenges and play with friends via couch co-op, online or even local wireless between two switch consoles (if the other player also has a copy of the game). This game isn't free from flaws such as bad camera controls, invisible walls, repetetive gameplay and some terrible voice acting (for some characters), but nothing in this new MUA is game breaking and overall, you'll still enjoy this awesome button smasher on your tv or on the go!

I own Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 and got this game because of the first two. Unfortunately it is a step backwards. There are new mechanics added which seem neat, but overall the camera angles are a huge pain. In the first two you could alter the angle most of the time so you could see. A majority of the time it is locked and puts up some bad angles. Gameplay is fun and almost on par with the first two, but I would rather buy a remastered version of them over this one if I could.

I was a fan of the other Ultimate Alliances and this is a good sequel. The camera is a little jarring at times and sometimes it can be hard to track whats going on with your team members, but overall a solid game.

I’m not that far into the game, but here are a couple of early impressions. -Controls are a bit complicated for the multi-hero attacks -The camera puts you in some weird angles every now and then.

Been waiting for a sequel for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance Series for years! The game greatly has a lot of improvements over the previous games. Camera angles sometimes make it difficult during combat.

This title stays true to the original formula that made the last two games fun, beat-em-up style game. Game is fun but can be repetitive and very simple, only a few buttons on the controller are used.

The game has been a lot of fun. There are a lot of additional elements to the game that I did not expect and a decent amount of extras. I will say however, that if you are not a big marvel fan, this game may be a 3 or 4 star. It's an old school smash em up style game. The camera at times can be annoying and can be frustrating, but can be alleviated some by changing camera modes (in single player). If you've played the previous games and enjoyed those, you will very much enjoy this.

Really fun game. Controls take a bit to get used to, but not too bad. The amount of DLC is a bit of a downer, but most games are going that way I guess...

Like the different camera angles in this game. A lot of marvel characters you can choose from with unique abilities. Definitely a smash em up game but enjoy it on the Switch.
