This game really takes me back to the roots of this series. I love the the mechanics and constant action on the screen. The infinity stones also add a new layer of depth to the gameplay. There’s a handful of game modes to keep you entertained from an expansive story to arcade and mission modes for the single player, and you can always take the battle online with your friends.

Works great and is a lot of fun.
I wish it had the same characters as some of the previous marvel Vs capcom games though. It’s mostly Avengers universe.

Capcom should put more time and money in MVC. The game underneath the mediocre graphics and ugly menus plays very well. I recommend it to any fighting game fab but just no expect much in production values.

I bought Marvel vs. Capcom on impulse when Best Buy discounted it to $20, and my Gamers Club discount made it even cheaper. I think between $15 - $20 is a fair price for this game. Character models aren't great, story mode is weak and action is sorta shallow. The game controls well though, and is a fun, low-stakes experience if you're a a Marvel fan.

Gameplay wise, the game is fine. If you are a fighting game fan, the actual fighting is good. My issue is that this game feel like a half hearted effort. The presentation is a huge step backwards from previous games and the roster is weak compared to earlier games in the series. I would only recommend this to hardcore fighting game fans.

I really like the Marvel vs. Capcom series and this game is fun but I do wish they would begin to add new material to fighting games in general other than shiner graphics.

Since Disney picked up 20th Century Fox maybe the next installment of this series will have the X-Men but for what the game is it is fun. It will be known as the odd duck out in the series but should you be able to get this game for cheap do so.

This latest installment of Capcoms vs series includes stars from Marvel and Capcom. A fighting game where you can play against the computer or with someone online or locally. Full of characters and slightly new mechanics, fans of the series wont disappoint. If you want more characters, they are available to purchase in game but theres a ton of standard characters to choose from anyways. Got the xbox 1 version but it's all the same fun game no matter which system.

Very good fighting game, but seems like a lot of reused assets from marvel/capcom 3. At times felt like an updated version of UMVC3, albeit with some key characters missing. Fun, core gameplay, definitely worth the $20, but probably not the full $60. Would probably knock a star (or two) off if you had to pay full price.

So the graphics are great. Controls are perfect. Only reason it did not get a 5 is this . If youve played any past capcom fighting games. Then youve already played this one. Takes up 50 gigs of space on xb1 hard drive for the same ol stuff.
