LOVE this game so far. I’m 30% through and can’t stop playing. Fantastic graphics, dynamic battle, and improved travel from previous games. Would highly recommend this to everyone who enjoys an incredible mix of gameplay with story. The swapping between Miles and Peter is a great addition to separate back stories that allows for increased development. The web-slinging is even better than before, and feels extremely fluid. Definitely a must-play for anyone who loves Spiderman or open world adventure.

Game is fire. Gameplay, dialogue, story, character arcs. Side characters and side stories make this one of thee best games this year!

Absolutely love this game, have been playing it almost everyday since purchasing. Great story, gameplay and plenty of action.

Game is pretty spectacular overall! Great story and a great power used responsibly. The good - fairly obvious: Combat gameplay - This has been fine-tuned. Multiple enemy variants keep you on your toes as difficulty increases as you play through the story. World navigation - much faster and more options! Either keep web assistance up to max to feel like an unstoppable super hero or lower it for realism and authenticity. Map icons are now mainly ‘discoverable’ without the use of fog of war towers. Gameplay now encourages to swing from Harlem to Coney Island or Astoria to Manhattan Financial District! Story - A wide cast of memorable characters not seen before. None feel injected arbitrarily and offer something to the world of Marvel’s New York. Quests/Missions - improvement from previous title. Side missions and stories now open up more at a pace as player continues through the story and do not derail the story flow. The ‘enh’ - where these don’t hinder the game, these are minor issues I personally had (you may not agree, which is great!): Side missions stories - Some stories within the side missions feel slightly underwhelming and slow way down. Where the non-combative moments are important and can be great, these few felt pulled away from the game’s overarching flow. These mission varieties are fairly slim as well that revolve around 1 of a couple mini game types or cutscene dialogue. Could use more in this department, especially with the use of the PS5 controller! Side mission variety - I believe this game could have had 1 or 2 more mission varieties found within the world to feel just right. Another traversal style series of missions or stealth style missions (no combat allowed). Gadgets and lack of build types - not every game needs builds, but the gadgets/powers in this game have been minimized and limit to the use of 8 (4 for each). Some have change options but offer very little difference in combat. Would have loved to see more player options on this front.

I had so much fun playing this game! The storyline is great and builds upon the first game. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are a hardcore Spider-Man fan like me!
